I went to the track today and ran a 16.1 and what I realized is I want more. I mean that is a given you always want to go faster, but I thought what I did was gonna be enough to make me happy while I got my car up to show car level, but instead I want to know something. What can I do to make it faster. I already have the headers, hi-flow cat, 2 inch pipes all the way back, exhaust, and a cold air intake. What else can I get? I want to go fast and not a turbo or nos just yet.

I would rebuild your engine internals. Get cylinders bored and honed,Cylinder Sleeves, Forged JE pistons, camshaft,Shave the head, AEM Cam gear, AEM pulleys. Thats if your looking to spend a couple thousand.

Also you have to upgrade the fuel system. Fuel injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, plugs and wires, for more efficient fuel flow. Thats if your looking to go all out on your car.

Yeah, i would never get any of those chips off ebay-nothing but a scam...everyone that i heard that bought one of those things, didn't get any performance whatsoever nor any power difference for that matter...

My brother bought one of the mugen chips off ebay and it did eveerything it said it would.Raised the rev limiter, and little more hp(I could tell as soon as we raced after the mod)> Only thing is you need to take it to an electronics repair shop to have it put in unless your good at that type of thing.By the way, are you running an auto or a stick?Cause if your running an auto, you can have your tranny modified to shift faster and at slightly higher rpm which could knock a tenth or two off your times.Youd be suprised what a sloppy shift can do to kill your times.Put a shift kit in one of my z28's once and boom!!! gained 2 tenths in the 1/8. Best money I ever spent. Of course a shift kit for a 700r4 was only $28. I havent checked to see what one would cost for my Honda or even worse having it put in!!!:(
