Hello, I have seen a little info on this, but I can't find it again. If someone has done this or knows how to do this please help. I recently got a vtec head and computer from a buddy of mines accord that was smashed. I own a LX and was wondering what is needed and involved to put the head on my car. I know it can be done, I just don't know what I need to make it work. Please any info will help. THANKS

I could be very wrong, but I don't think the head has much to do with the VTEC part of it...I have no idea, but to put VTEC on a non-VTEC motor, you would need a VTEC solenoid, right? And I have no idea how you would convert it, but VTEC doesn't really do much - if anything, it robs low end power. That's how I see it. Granted a VTEC car will have more hp than non-VTEC, but a non-VTEC car can probably accelerate quicker...maybe. lol - I really don't know, so someone finish my thoughts. I have a VTEC accord, and weighing in at 2800lbs (400lbs less than stock), I only go 0-60 in about 9.5-10 seconds with intake, and exhaust. lol - that's not a good number. So I don't know - maybe my car just sucks.
