oh thx.. i mean.. i dont knoe.. i see lots of u guys not really u guys but at my skool.. UTI auto skool u knoe i see lots of cars.. and damn . i see lots of dusty and dirty engines.. i dont knoe how u guys work on such dirty cars.. i mean.. i am going into this field as a Tech. cuz i love working on cars and wanna learn more to fix others and not just mine.. but its gonna be hard to work on other cars with just dirty and dusty engines just cuz mine is so clean..

i do this and dont tell anyone else to do it.. just cuz i mean.. u might not do it the way i do it or something but. . i pressure wash my engine after i let it get dirty.. but really it takes like 6 months before it really gets dirty and thats still nothing.. i dont knoe how u guys build up so much.. i mena i drive now alot everyday on the highway like 40 mins total to get to point a to b and b to a.. and its been like 2 months and engine still berry clean..

but this is what i do.. i bring a couple of bags and some clean towels.. next i drive to a local diy car wash with pressure guns.. i cover up my SRI with plastic bag and Dist. Cap.. i set it to high pressure hot rinse and start goiong at it.. i try not to get to close and start cleaning out all the crap.. next i remove the bags and get the towel to wipe down my intake.. and go start my engine with hood open.. i just chill and watch the heat dry it.. once thats all done.. close hood and start pressure washing my car.. and use a CA blade to wipe all water off well most of it.. and get antoher big towel and wipe down my car.. getting alot of the water i missed then i go for a air dry drive and back home i am.. hehehe

"CA blade" is that the california water blade i see in stores kinda looks like just the rubber side of a squeegee? anyway my engine is pretty clean i think for a daily driver at least once a year or when really dirty i cover up all eletronic parts wit plastic bags n ducktape n use gunk foamy engine bright n clean dat biotch

I've heard of wrapping your electircals and using some Simple green or something all around the engine and stuff, then pressure wash it off. But I didn't know which stuff to cover, and how to cover it. So I haven't done it yet.

simple green works wonders on alot of car things..... an you dont only need to wrap up the distributer an things like that, but you should not turn off the car either... leave it running... an make shure that you do use the pressure washer with hot water espeacialy when the engine has been on for a while... why you ask yourself.... well it is like throughing hot water on a frozen windsheild in the winter, it will break something if you are not carefull.... ok by...

yeah I found out all about that when I was in chemistry class and had a beaker filled with some test fluid. I went to put it on the burner not knowing that my lab partner had already turned the burner on so it was mad hot. As soon as I put it on there, it instantly shattered and I ended up cutting my arm a little bit. Damn near chased the little fugger around the classroom trying to take it out on his ass.
