I was driving to work and i c this busted up hatch prolly 92-93? with stock 14's in the front and 17's in the back rusty body work and a straight pipe no muffler, you can just see the pipe going striaght from undeneath. It had gutted interior only 2 seats in front. I'm thinking Ohh jeez... another low budget rice burner... and pass it... It catches up in a sec and gives me one of those bumble bee revs And holds it in 2nd gear waiting for me to go. So I downshift to 2nd as well and ball out. He is sitting htere gave me about 3 car headstart and DAAAAMNNNN i hear squeeling and this internal "ALL MOTOR" sound ripping the asphalt Dude flies by me merges in front then to the right then slow down then got behind me and then passed me againg from my left. In other words dude made a freacking circle around me. It was sooo embarrasing. So on the light I asked him what he had done. He said he had a GSR swap with some work. I'm like well.... you got a mad sleeper! Props. and drove off.

Moral of the story... "dont judge the book by its cover."

guy near me has a mkII gti thats brown and looks all stock. what you dont see is the all motor 10second 1/4 engine he has under the hood. sleepers are scary, but cool too :)

Getting back to the point though, you guys need to realize that the beat up ass old ones are the fastest, cause the cleanest ones with the most stuff on them are 100% no go ricemobiles.
