I'm back, but the 4th is not.

I got a new car. a 99 se 4-door 5-speed 2.3 VTECH all bells and whistles included. What is odd is I have done nothing to the virgin yet so I feel so left out of the loop. I am not on the other hand going to drop it of do exhaust treatments to it. I want to try and keep it a sleeper as much as possible. I got sick of getting flirted with everywhere I went. But tonight I did race a 00 cirrus (sp?) and beat it but not by much. My 4th gen would have destroyed that shit.

what happened to ur 4th gen? And what are ur plans for ur new car?

Alright, New years eve someone fucked both front fenders, the passenger side was bad enough that I could not open the door. The passenger door was beat to shit, and the hood had 2 nice sized dents in it too so I gave up, did not want to put anymore time into that car.
As for my new one, I don't plan on much, when spring breaks I'm going to tint it (of course) then soon I'm doing the air intake (short ram) a VTECH adjuster, no pipes or mufflers, anything like that. But I am going to do a header. um Anti sway bars and better shocks, but no dropping is going to happen to this car. I like going where ever I want, shit I could go off roading with this new car caompared to my old machine. But after all I'm pretty happy with this one as is. Could use a little hp and tq though. But I want to keep her a sleeper.

I don't think it was a bat cuz the paint was fine except were the metal on the pass. fender keeked and the paint flaked off the sive of a baseball.

I heard all about it. If you ask me, you gave up too easy Marshall. Yeah, you got a new car that you're happy with and all, but thnk about how much time you put into that 4th gen and it's all gone now:( I think you're letting those fuckers get off too easy. If only you lived in VA, I'd be joining you in that hunt! I'd find them for you and then let you do whatever you think is fair. Maybe bust up their knee caps with a bat? or have them repair everything to your car and when they're done drop them off in the middle of nowhere so they have to walk 90 miles to the nearest phone or die...whichever comes first. There's lots of things you could do. I'm just saying I think you gave up too easy and are letting them get away with it, so now there's a chance of that happening to your new 99 by the same people. There's a time to give up and there's a time to kick some fucking ass and I just think that you gave up too quick. Anyways, great that you did get the 99. I've been tossing the idea around of getting a newer one too, but I just love tha 4th gens:) Good luck with the mods you do to it. Keep me in mind for parts...I can get anything you want!

Thanks Pat. Well as for the 4th gen, yeah I did up to easy, but I was just at a loss for words when I came upon the mess. And yes I did put ALOT of time into it, but that was some of the reasoning for getting the new one. I just did not have it in me to fix something that I did not fuck-up. If I got drunk and fucked it up, then yeah I would have cleaned up my mess. But on a lighter note I found on the ebay that I can get a header for like 73 bucks. I don't know if it is worth the time and money, but that would give me a few hp's and mainly more tq. which is what the car needs. what do you think Pat? Do you have anything better, or get better for a good price? Well all in all Thanks Pat.
