I am currently getting a body kit put in and have size 205 tires. I want to lower it one inch. You think 215's would be more suitable?

just as long as you tires don't rub on anything you should be fine.

215 should be cool, I think thats what I have and my drop is more than an inch. I don't rub at all, also i don't think body kits matter that much as far as tires rubbing cuz its the wheel well clearance that is the factor.

Here are a couple pics of my drop, I had to downsize the pics to fit them on here so I appologize if they look distorted. The first pic is the side of the car where you can see both front and back wheel clearances. The sec pic is the otherside where you can see more of the back wheel clearance. Oh and my tire size is 215/35/18

I did, but they are only 50%. Check this out, I just met my next door neighbor the other day and come to find out, he is a tint installer. So one conversation led to another and he said that he can put on some 30% tint to make them look like my 99 AV6. Here's a pic of the tint.

205/50/15 is the best size for the wipe if it is on the stock rims if you go larger rim then i dont know..lol.. but if you are worried about tire rubbing you should be fine in my opinion "i was sitting at just about 4.2"(maybe little more), if you are scepticle though get the inner fender lip rolled out....

I have 205/40/17 tires. Im not really worried about rubbing. I just wanted to clear that wheel gap and have some ground clearance. I have a body kit on my accord. I scrap all the time going down long slanted driveways.

i have 205/55/16's and a 1.75 drop and i have nothing close to rubbing, it also looks perfect with the gap, its basically equal all the way around the whell well.
