This was a thread in the old forum and since i liked it so much i'm reviving it. If u've already replied to that thread u can copy and paste ur post.
Tell us how you came to have your ride, and what you have gone through with it. Most importantly, tell us if your ride has a name.

The story of my accord...well lets backtrack to about 3 years ago, Senior year of h.s. and its like a month until graduation. I was working, in band, and taking advanced classes all with no car and no transportation. While walking home from the bus stop one day there was a lil old blue subaru being sold for $500, i didn't have $500 but i figured i'd check into it...turns out the seller was the husband of my 4th grade daycare teacher named Mrs. Patty. Always liked that lady and she actually remembered me the very moment she saw me(grown ups love me for some reason). My dad had a 86 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL...beautiful car but it blew its timing chain and lost the entire left side of a V8 engine!!! So nobody in the house had a car anymore and after i told her that story she talked her husband down to $100. The car had 130 K miles on it. Wasn't the most elegant of cars but i loved her dearly and wouldn't of traded her for the world. She had a really loud engine tho and it was traced to the catalytic converter...so my friends appropriately named it Catalina. This car lasted me up until this january where the multiple oil leak eventually took over and i blew the engine the final mileage reading was at 154 K miles...wouldn't u pay $100 for 24 thousand miles and the most expensive repair i had to do was a CV Axle if i could i would've dropped another engine in it but didn't have the money and also the probs of mounts and stuff. I had to tell the story of my subaru(all hail subaru). Just my luck too that every aspect of my life fell apart at the same time, i'd just gotten back from college so i was flat broke, had a $200 cell bill, about $350 in credit card bills, no insurance, getting like 9 hours a week and $6 an hour at the same job i'd been working for 3years, my computer lost the motherboard and it took out the processor one of my hard drives, and the cpu fan along with it. So with no car, no comp, no phone, no money, and basically no life this brotha was strugglin'. So i managed to get an additional job and solve my credit and money probs but i still didn't have any transportation. My dad luckily was kind enough to loan me the money for another car but he got to pick the car was the bad part. He found a 91 honda accord for $2500 for sale, immaculate interior, great running motor, and no visual defects. Personally i hated the car when i first saw it cause i had my eyes on a dark blue crx, and a white integra at first...this car had a burgandy interior and ugly champagne exterior but the guy that was selling it put a surrounding infinity speaker setup and 6 cd changer in it and it was stick shift. I still didn't want it tho i would've rather had the integra instead but after beating a couple of those in my granny car i changed my mind . I figured i'd learn to love the car eventually but i didn't expect to love it this much this fast cause now i'm all about accords. I still don't have a name for her but i like her so much she doesn't need one anymore seems like it'd degrade her to label her like that.

I got mine off of autotrader.com, Being a Honda lover, I couldn't think of any thing else when my wife (girlfriend @time) needed a car. She is a nanny and needed a four door car, soooooooo I figured on an Accord looked and looked and finially when I got on to autotrader it was the first listing....It had 17's, Intake, Exhaust, F & R strut bars, and an amp, Pioneer head unit, So I couldnt pass it up, looked it over and fell in love....Oh yeah it was a 5 speed and she didnt know how to drive it. So a friend and I set out to teach her how to drive a stick, and because I had a wrecked civic, and my buddy didn't want to teach her on his Integra, we borrowed his moms Passport....Wow alot of hondas. And after I thought I was going to die on a right hand turn going up a hill onto RxR tracks w/o letting off gas, we went and bought the car.....since then, she has vowwed to never drive another auto. & one day while I was diriving I seemed to have pissed someone off and he tried to pass me on the right in the e-lane, he took out the front pass. side rim, and fender, I jumped w/ joy A NEW PAINT JOB!!!!!!!!... At that time and still am I'm learning to do auto body, my buddy said he'd do it for a grand, and because the accident wasnt my fault, and minus the deductible, I had a grand to give him, @the same time on ebay locally I got a set of 97 s.e. rims w/ two good tires and slapped thoes on, took awhle to get use to the different look. Soon after the body work and paint was done. and now an h22 is going in........Expense list
Car : $3900
Labor mostly mine.. for paint $1000 free because of acc.
Paint and bad ass clear coat changed color to firepepper red met. pearl (from maroon) $437
Rims from ebay $250 two more tires and warr. for reamining two $130
H22 swap $2000 w/ new parts $2200
Driving a car that you have worked on: PRICELESS

Wow I've spent alot on this car and it's not even my Daily Driver.....Where does the madness stop???? can someone help me......No name for car yet.........

My story goes back to my Nam days...

so here I was,16 and just getting my license. I had to get a car. I had no clue what I wanted.. untill I fell in love with 1960's mustangs... the first one I found for 3grand had alittle rust, and a nice 305 v8 in it, I was about to get it and then someone came and got it for 35hundred... next one the people wanted to much money for and finally, right when I found one that had an awesome body, I went to check it out, but it only had the straight 6 in it (now that I look back I should have bought it and built a motor for it, but I would have totaled the car)... so right around then I was still looking for a car and I come home one day to see a Mazda 626 in the driveway with 17 crome rims on the car.. I was like cool, but I dont want this car.. then my parents went on to tell me it was for my sister and that I was getting her car... a 94 honda accord.. auto :( I was pissed. I didnt want it. I wanted a muscle car so I could do some smoky burnouts and pick up dumb blondes... but I got an accord. I only got dumb brunets... Anyhow.. as time went on me and old Cord (its name was Cord) went through alot. One night while chasing some kids who through glass bottles at me and some friends I slid into a curb and messed the rim up. Then another time I punched out the windsheild, then got rearended, had a rally inccident hitting a trailer hitch. shit evn at one point my window switch fried and I drove 1 hour with the window down, it was freezing out and snowing, and I had no jacket on and my heat didnt help. Me and that car went through alot... but some how while I hated it, it made me learn a whole lot about accords and gain a great respect for them. At the accords prime, it had Falken Azenis Sport tires, a CF hood, Tein Superstreet Suspension, a sway bar, cold air intake, and even gas in the gas tank. But then I choose to do something with my life and go to college, so I took the wrenches out, and detuned the corner hugger, crying when I took the teins off, and then sold old Cord...
I may end up getting another accord. Shit I have tein SS, a EDFC, a full bushing kit.. full cold air... hmm I smell H22 swap along with 17 racing harts, the tein upper pillow mounts. EDFC installed along with the bushings, 2 door 5 speed, hopefully white, tinted windows, cd player, valentine one or something good to save my last 2 points on my license... or maybe Ill lead a different path with a different car... who knows.
thats my story.. for now.

I've got three Accords and the story for each kinda relates to each one so I'll tell a condensed story about how I became the biggest Accord junkie.

First Accord
I purchased my first 91 EX 2-door sometime in 1996/97. I was working at Circuit City Roadshop at the time and purchased the car from my manager. Bought that for $4200 at the time, but it was only like 5-6 years old so that's why it was fairly expensive. I had an awesome system, but the rest of the car was stock and I drove it that for 3 years that way and was very happy. I finally broke down and did my first performance mod to it (intake) and was hooked from there. Did many more mods to it over the years and in 2003 the car was broken into and had several thousands worth of audio stuff ripped out. I fixed the damages and after about a month of driving it after the break-in I just decided to park the car, strip it, and mod it from scratch to be the most hardcore racing conversion ever done to an Accord. It is still currently stripped and I hope to start modding it soon.

Second Accord
This was also a 91 EX 2 door that I bought off of Ebay for $800 in 2003 after I stripped the first Accord. This was going to be my new daily driver but I wanted to modify it to be quicker so I bought an H22 for it before I even had the car. I modded the hell out of it to be a quick car and it was very enjoyable! After owning the car for about 6mos, it was wrecked and destroyed. I pulled the H22 and sold it to John (Accordict). It now sits wrecked in my front yard and I pull parts from it as needed. What a shame that all the time and money I put into the car was wasted before I even got to put 10,000 miles on it.

Third Accord
After the second one was wrecked, I bought a 93 EX 2-door to be my new daily driver and didn't want to put a lot of money into it because of the whole accident with the second Accord. The car was in fairly good condition, but the interior had been stripped, brake lines cut and other stupid things that I had to take care of before driving it. The beauty of it was that it had a built performance motor under the hood and I pulled that and it' sitting in my garage now. I installed the F22A4 from my first Accord into it and I've been using that as my daily driver since. It is now back to stock spec and I don't even have an intake installed! I might do a few things to this one, but nothing major. I paid $1700 for the car and the only reason I paid that much was because of the motor under the hood. The F22A4 in it now has over 270,000 miles on it and still runs great! If you take care of these cars they will last you forever.

I still have all three of these Accords and will probably buy another one soon. I've been tossing the idea around of getting a 5th gen but we'll see. I also own 3 other cars (91 AWD Turbo Isuzu Impulse, 93 Saturn 4-door, 82 Rx-7) but the Accords are my favorite and the only ones I really ever talk about. I've owned an Accord for the past 6 or 7 years and will continue to own them for as long as they're around.

It was the summer of '02, I needed a car. She didnt like me at first, being a high-class-bitch and all. I named her Marie, a tribute to a french girl I'd dated.

With '02 over, and many changes coming my way, I figured I'd get back to some of the things I left behind after the summer. I still had my #1, the '94 LX 5-speed that I conned my parents into buying for me two years and 75K ago (they had money, I didn't). I'd done an intake pipe about January last year (noise change scared the piss out of me), but at this point it wasnt enough. Through the spring/summer of '03, I searched my local junkyards looking for simple cosmetic parts to make her look right again.

Well, I didnt find them, (big f-ing suprise. It was a trunk badge and a new column box) but I did find my #2. She was a silver '97 SE, rims and all, completely unstripped. Unfortunately, with a blown trans, extreme water damage (we're talking Accord turned submarine minus good weatherstripping here), and no way to get her home, she had to stay at the yard, but the rims left with me. $300 for almost perfect SE rims, damn right.

That brings us to mid-'03. After a little trouble with my employers, (fired? What?) I had to find a way to fund my little project. Something where I could drive, but still earn money, that didnt involve going 50 miles to wash dishes. Short of getting a sponsor, we took up a delivery job for a local pizza place. Although I got an amp, sub, and new deck out of it, Marie didnt like that. It turned into one of those, "this is your clutch... this is your clutch when it's all over the bell housing" jokes my mechanic had told me while he had an Audi torn apart years ago.

$1500. She still didnt like me. Brakes went when a caliper piston blew out just after the clutch. And it wasnt a "let's go for a delivery", it was a "time to get to work, wonder how that new clutch is going to perform" situation. $500 for a new cali, pads, rotors, and labor... the list goes on, but I'll spare everyone.

About October '03, I finally had the problems sorted out. It was time to ride again. She looked and sounded pretty badass, and the nice 2nd gear squeak helped out alot in the races on our little 2 mile fourlane strip of heaven.

...but, it's not then anymore. It's middle of f-ing January. The trans sounds like it's got an almost shot bearing in it. The (once) nice summer tires are still on the SE rims, almost fully bald at this point, and the Christmas presents I suprised her with (new knob, boot, gauges, seat covers) look nice as an interior mod, but there's no extra substance behind them. Either way, she's still my #1, and if you're in the Upper Valley of Nampshire, you'll probably even see her powersliding around corners and spinning through vacant lots.

Buying Marie from my parents: $5700 w/75K on the clock
Paying for repairs: $2000+
Summer and Christmas mods: $600 (Maybe)
Cost of tickets I've gotten so far because of that damn noise ban after 10PM:
$720 (10@$72 each)

All the time I've spanked civics and neons that populate this area with an almost dead-stock Accord just because I can: F-ing priceless.

the story of my accord....
well, it all started in October '03.... I had a 97 galant. Went out of town and decided it would be alright for my friend to drive it down the street to the convenient store since he knew the area and all, so about 15mins go buy, i start to worry. 10mins after the worrying begins, i get a call. he demolished my car. there was some losing control of the car, slamming it into a man-made guide rail made of railroad tie (or train track pieces). blah blah blah. so, i had wanted to get another galant but i had decided if i couldnt find a galant i'd try to find an accord. i had heard all good things about accords, so it was the next best thing. so, obviously i couldnt find a galant. but i found this 96 accord... went to see it and before i even test drove it, i knew i was going to get it. so, beginning of november, i purchased my accord. and that would be that.

here's my story, i was driving for a wrecking company when my all american pontiac grand am started sounding like my ford super duty wrecker. it was only 2000 miles ago i invested little over 2k in the tranny to get it fixed and the enging was dying. started to tear the bastard apart and had no ride other than the wrecker. started repo'n alot of the local college students who couldnt pay their car payments to make money for a rebuuild in my grand am and ended up picking up a 94 accord that had been abandoned at an apt complex. thing had a huge stereo system in it and before i could jack the bastard some hood ripped everything shy of the custom fosgate floor speakers. as texas law goes a repo shop has to wait 3 months before applying for a title on a abandoned car so 3 mon lapse. 4 mon later, yards mechanic pulls the little blue accord out and hot wires the ignition and the bastard starts right up. takes it around the corner and it runs ok, except for the tranny is slipping. i told my boss id give him 2000k for it and call it a day and he agrees. the deal is born. siince then ive wrecked the fron end and repaired the hood, fans, evaparator, and radiator with a new head light and reformed the front fender, rebuilt the tranny, installed a new system, reappolstered the seats, and done some suspension work and major tune ups to keep it on the road safe at 100mph. good car i hope she runs for a while cause im still working on gettin my grand am on the road, may sell it and try to find another cord.... haha abandon ship were riding with the import crowd!!!!!!

Back in 2002 i started looking for a car i ws looking for a Chevelle or Malibu 1966-1974 but my grandmother (who was buying the car) told me "I will get you any car you want under 5 grand but after i buy the car and if it is older then a 1990 then I will not pay a dime for any thing that it needs) so i decided to get a 1990 5.0
but then my grandmas co-worker Eral had a 1993 Honda Accord he was selling for 4 grand so I figured well im not getting an old muscel car and this is right here right now and plus it had 18inch Enkieis on and new tires it was lowered had cold air intake plug wires with super grounds 4-2-1 DC Sport headers a Piggy back system (remove speed limiter)
and GReddy exhust also a Panasonic deck the 400$ one and 4, 12inch Boston pro comp subs and a 300x6 watt RMS amp. How could i resist. I went to go look at my future car and i swear i almost creamed my pants. It was mine. Before the check went through Earl backed into a railroad tie that was along his drive way messing up the back end corner bumber on the right But i still wanted the car.
got it September 15, 2002 After I got the car i noticed that it really needed a complete new front end 1200 bucks it took to replace CV joints tire rods and all bushings and uper controll arms(I insrtalled to controll arms my self) . i drove the shit out of it with my Dad and grandma I only had my permit, Me and my dad went out saturday night to the local drag street Memorial in Tulsa, Oklahoma and i knew I really loved my car when we smoked a 1992 5.0 Mustang.
On may 19, 2003 i went over to my grandmas to go for a joy ride with my wanna be G|F before my grandma got home from work and i went to my moms and when I got there I found that my 18 chrome Enkieis were stolen I was pissed My car set in Tulsa till July 10 when i took the wheels of my grandmas Honda Accord 2000 LX and i drove my car out to my home in Inola where it set till
January 4, 2004 then on this day I got my new wheels and tires I got 17 inch Motogi rims I went for a drive with no insurance and it was great 100mph 110mph all the way up to 160mph down are old country roads gose no faster then 160 at the moment. I still dont have insurance but i still frive around a little bit no insurance till I get a job

The story of my Accord. I bought this thing off the street in 2002. It originally came from a dealership trade-in deal and an employee bought it and sold it right after. I am the second owner of the car. Its a 4-door, nothing special about it. A month or so after I bought it, I had the engine replaced with a jdm b20a5 prelude engine, through my friend. This increased the horsepower a bit. Then about a month after that I had the dc-sports header installed. That gave it a few extra horsepower. At that point, I could burnout a little. Haha. Then I had the airfilter replaced with a k&n high airflow filter. Nothing else really special about it besides the mods to the bumpers, the black taillights, and some sei upgrades on the interior. I found that some of the 89 accord sei cars had a bose stereo system in them and all the speaker panels had the bose emblem. And the sei edition accords had an armrest, which is rare in the color I have. Also the 89 accords came with the clear front turn signals. I just took the amber piece out of it and WALA, clear turn signals. Just basically the cheapest mods I can afford right now until I get my fat job after college hehe. Now the car sits about 2 inches lower then when I bought it and goes faster. I can say I love my car and would rather have it ANY DAY over my first car, 85 dodge 600, yuck! Even though that car was fast, it was dubbed the "Brown Bucket" due to its brown convertible top and ugly paint job. Never buy one of those cars. ANyhow thats my story, and for 2 years I've been happy with this car and probably will keep it until I can get a newer accord.

Well, I'm a newbie to this site and so far I really like it! I thought I'd start off by adding my two cents to this thread. We had a 85 Prelude for almost 8 years and traded her in with 189K for a 95 Accord EX Sedan. My son sprouted legs and it wasn't comfy in the back seat of the Lude anymore so we had no choice. It's the nicest car I have ever owned!! I love her to death! We haven't done too many things to her. Just new wheels and tires, cold air induction, larger spark plug wires and lowered her 2 inches. I'd like to maybe put a header on her in the future... I was pretty bummed in the beginning because she is an auto and manuals are so much quicker off the line. But the hubby won't let me race her at the local drags even if we do more mods to her, so the only other option is to purchase another just for that purpose and fix it up. Damn it! :D

I registered on this site to get some ideas for mods. Any ideas are more than welcome!!

Take care!!

The story of my accord is pretty good. I never really had respect for hondas through high school, every one had a civc with euro lights on them. i called them jap crap and always said subarus are better {that opinion still stands cause subies are just bad ass} but anyways. I was invited to a party and caught a ride there with a female friend of mine. She had a white 92 accord dx 5-speed w/blue interior. They only came w/2speakers and one was blown, so I wasn't too impressed at first. She had just got the motor tuned so she took off right away, and i was so impressed by it i bought it from her a month later for 1500. I had it for 9 months then i b-lined it right into the side of a rock wall then blew the transmission in the middle of the road a week later. In the mean time, my mom had bought a 00 accord v-6, very nice. i had to borrow it to drive to work for awhile and damn, after burying the speedo on I-87, i knew i needed another accord. Luck has it, that very day i drove by a dealership and there she was, a black 96 LX 5-speed with mirror tint and low milage. A month later she was mine. I threw an agressor front bumper and a greddy evo cat back on her and called her the civic eater. The rest is history to be written

Well, it was right before my 16th birthday, and i knew what i wanted, a 4th gen accord manual. my dad desided he would get this crazy idea and give me his volvo  i was pissed. however this thankfully lasted only a week and we looked in the newspapers. we looked at a couple, non too impressive so we desided to go to dealers. the first one was the honda dealer. they looked up on their computers and found that they did have one, i think it was a 90. we went out too look at it, what a peice of shit! the whole roof and hood was oxidized there was all these leaves inside, the seats were torn, and it was 5 grand! so we left, and i was coming to the end of my hope, thinking there wouldnt be any out there. we went to a few more, which didnt even have a 4th gen. my dad said we could go to one more. he asked if i wanted to go to the nissan or subaru. i said subaru so i could see the new sti. thank god i choose that. while we were out looking at them i accidently set the alarm off on the sti (very sensative alarms all i did was barely tap the wing) so we see a rep coming out and guess what right there was my 4th gen. i ran up to it, manual. it had just arrived the day before and was just taken out of the detailing shop, it wasnt even parked. we asked the price, they said they thought it was 3.5 which at the time was pretty low, considering the perfect condition. they came out and verified the price and we bought it for just under 4 after dealer handling and tax. i was releived! :D

My dad bought a new Accord in 1995 and it got stolen two weeks after we had it, so he had to buy another one (this time with a car alarm) a few months later. He's loved his Accord, and has put over 365,000 miles on it in the last 9 years, and it's still going strong. Last summer my parents decided to finally get me a car (I had already moved out of the house and wasn't even living in the same city as them) and they got me a bordeaux red 1994 Accord Sedan EX. I was pretty pleased with it, but the muffler and exhaust sounded like shit so I knew right off the bat, I'd have to replace that. I had a "friend" who was friends with this guy that owned a shop so I asked him if he could score me a deal on a good exhaust system. I didn't know anything about cars back then, I couldn't even change my own oil.

So the guy says, sure, I could hook you up with a new muffler for $100, and a full cat-back for $150-$200. So I say, yeah, okay, but I'd like to see one first. So my dad gives me some money to replace the muffler, and I go down to the shop. They end up quoting me $300 for the cat-back, a Ractive Fireball was the only one they offered me. So I took a test drive in a civic hatch with one on there, and it sounded okay, not too loud but that was apparently because the subs were turned all the way up. I decided, okay, I'll go for it since my friend says it is a "damn good deal." I paid them $300 in cash, on the spot and they said they'd order one for me and it should be there in a week. I went home, feeling shitty for spending $300 on an exhaust, and looked some stuff up on the internet. I found that I could have got it for $211 shipped, so I was thoroughly pissed off. However, I just wanted to get the exhaust fixed, that's all I cared about. So I called the guy at the end of the week and he told me that it had been backordered, and to call in a few days. This continued on for a month and a half before they called and told me it was in finally, so I went in and got it installed. However, I noticed that it was almost as loud as it was before, so I took the car home and checked underneath. Sure enough, they hadn't even given me my B-pipe, they had kept it for themselves and charged me $300 for an axle-back exhaust. The stock B-pipe had rusted holes in it that the exhaust was escaping out of causing the loud noise, so I decided to buy a stock replacement part, a Bosal B-pipe for $112. I had my friend install it for me, free of charge, but than I noticed, well, what do you know, the B-pipe stopped making noise, but now I have a fart can! Super.

I did manage to put an AEM short ram intake on it myself, though, and I've kept that in there. However, when I went to visit my parents, they wanted to take the car for a family drive up to Portland, OR so we went ahead and did that. The only problem was that you couldn't have a conversation on the freeway, that is how damn loud the exhaust was. My family kept giving me crap about how my car sounded like a POS with that exhaust on it, so I decided over last Christmas break to spend some money, and get something good.

I spent several days researching various exhaust systems, looking for something that looked cool, but nearly stock, and sounded quiet as hell. I decided on the RS*R ExMag exhaust, which retails for $629. Twice the price of my previous exhaust, but this thing was proported to be the quietest aftermarket exhaust, and it looked pretty damn cool too. From the pics I saw, it looked nearly stock. Not mention, it's JDM.

So I ordered the RS*R, and in a few weeks it arrived at my door. My first impression when I saw the UPS guy pull it from the truck was "Good god damn! That's huge!" The box was large enough for me and a friend to crawl inside, and when I opened the box, sure enough, it was gigantic. Did it look cool, oh, absolutely, but I could stick my fist in the tip. The piping is, I believe, 60mm, so a major improvement over the Bosal B-pipe of what, 1.5" or less. So I waited about 3 weeks before my friend could help me install it (who am I kidding, he did ALL the work), but when we turned the key on the Accord, it was a completely new car. There was a slight humming and vibration coming from the tip, but that was nearly it. The new exhaust sounded beautiful.

I still have the old Ractive Fireball, which is okay if you like not being able to hear anything, and I may or may not sell it for about $50 including the B-pipe (I dinged it backing into my friend's driveway).

I added a "Type-R" grill and painted it black recently, so it looks pretty tight.

I also had "Red H's" but I decided they didn't match the car very well, so I took the old gold H's and Trim emblems (the Accord EX parts) and masked them off (4 hours worth of taping) and painted them a graphite-grey color. The H's were easy, but masking the Trim Emblems were a BITCH. The car looks pretty awesome with these now, reminds me of the black S2000 emblem.

I did a bulb upgrade to dual 9005s, and the road is much brighter now. Almost too bright, kind of hurts my eyes with the reflection.

Most recently, I got a pair of stock tail lights from a Coupe up in WA that was in a fire accident for nearly free (she charged me $10 for shipping) so I masked off the blinkers and redded them out with Testor's Transparent Candy Apple Red. They look much better now, but I'm thinking about redding out the reverse lights as well so it is all solid red. I'm just worried about it turning pink over time =/

That's pretty much it. I was considering dropping it on H&R Sport Springs and adding some Volk Racing GramLights but that is a lot of money. If I can save $2400 past summer into next Fall term, than I will likely do that. But not till than =P Atleast, not with the Volks. Perhaps the H&R Sport Springs if I can make sure my friend will be able to install them for me. Which brings me to the next thing.

I bought a set of Brembo Cross-Drilled / Slotted rotors for the Front & Rear but when my friend and I tried to install them, we found out it would be more difficult then we thought. The rotors are completely new and un-used, and I'm too lazy to try to get them on there. So if anyone is interested in buying them, please let me know. I bought them for $200 but would be willing to part with them for less.

My accord, ha. I got mine from my in laws. I had a vw gti 89 16v dohc and I loved that car, but it had way to many problems. Anyways my wifes parents said they would hook us up with a car if we came to visit them. So we went out to where they lived. When they told me it was a 93 accord I was like woo hoo. About a million ideas went through my head on what I was gonna do to it. So when we brought it home, with my first pay check we put h&r suspension on it and some 17 inch rims which I robbed off my vw. As fate takes its turn we go down to cali to visit my family and the timing belt goes out. Turns out that my inlaws had never givin this car a tune up and never changed any of the belts. So my uncle took this car and replaced all the belts (note to everyone out there- if your car all of a sudden dies on the road, do not try to start it) well anyway I managed to bend practically all the valves in the 4th cylinder, it was so bad that you could pull the 4th ignition line off the engine and it didnt even faze it, so I drove home with a chug and a sluggish ass car that was running on 3 cylinders from cali to washington. I am actully kinda happy it happend because after that happend I was given a excuse to get a new engine and I didnt have to here my wife bitch about doing shit to our car that we didnt need. So out with the f22 and in with f20a, oh honey while the engine is out we might as well swap the clutch out, look this guy on ebay has a greddy stage 2 clutch for only 200 bucks, once i got the approval it was on. I never heard of the f20a engine until my buddy mentioned it. But after a year I have just added on bolt on parts after the engine swap and it is bad ass. Well now im selling it for anyone who wants to buy a 93 accord with a f20a and all kinds of after market stuff, I think ima cry.

Well I am selling it cause I got another kid on the way and a accord sedan aint gonna cut it. I would love to get a 5th gen accord and do the f20b but I already have a prelude and my wife says I have to find a family vehicle.I actully found a 95 accord station wagon, it already has the tien suspension on it for a good start. The best part is its a manual. Its close enough in my mind to what I want and it being a family vehicle. The only problem now is to convince my wife we dont wanna suv. Oh oh I got a idea, f20b in a 95 accord wagon. Ahh hahaha. What engine comes in the accord wagon 95? The wagon pretty much is identical to the sedan accord except for the wagon part right? How much does a f20b engine, ecu, and tranny cost? Does this f20b have a optional lsd tranny? Thank you for the excellent idea tetsuo. Im am now starting a new project, The draggin wagon preoject. Who would like to see a station wagon handing people their asses on the street? I would pay good money to see that shit. This gonna turn out to be a better thing then I thought. OK im off to go buy this wagon.

I would love to see you do that with a Wagon =P I believe it comes with an F22B also (don't think the V6 was available in the Wagons back then... but not sure). The swap should be fairly identical to a Sedan or Coupe swap, although I think I heard one of the motor mounts isn't the same. Don't quote me on this though, Wagon swaps are pretty damn rare! I also don't think the F20B comes with a helical LSD, that'd have to be an aftermarket add-on unfortunately.

I believe the F20B + ecu + tranny should only cost $2000-$2800 depending on mileage, shipping, etc. But they are hard to find, I think last time I checked there was only one on Ebay. It's pretty much just a destroked H22A, except you'd have the pride of saying it's an F20B =P

I started out with a 94 Accord LX automatic as my daily driver. I put a lot of miles on it and it came time to either get rid of it or fix it up. Guess what I decided to do? ;)

I started with the suspension:
Tokico Illumina struts
Eibach Pro-kit springs
ST sway bars
Ingalls camber kit
17" Konig Tantrums with 205/45/17 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's.

I thought about doing the manual swap, but this car was going to stay a DD. I decided to rebuild the auto, but installed the "Level 10" clutch pack so it would handle anything that I decided to do with the engine.

Then came the engine mods:
Injen intake
Gude TB
Port matched IM
Port Flow head
Ferrea valvetrain
Web cam
AEM cam gear
Wiseco 11:1 forged pistons
Crower Billet rods
balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly
Knology ignition
DC SS header
test pipe
Greddy EVO exhaust

The next step was to upgrade the fuel system and do some tuning. Unfortunately, 800 miles into the break in period, the POS Gude TB decides to eject one of the throttle plate screws into the engine, I drop a cylinder, and have to start all over. Don't even get me started on GUDE. They didn't loctite or peen the threads on the throttle plate screws and they vibrated loose. GUDE SUCKS!!!

By the time I got everything back together, I'd spent all the money I had put back for the fuel upgrades and tuning. I needed more fuel, so I installed an AEM FPR and B&M guage and bumped the fuel pressure up enough to cover the difference. The car didn't run like it should have, but that was all I could do at the time.

Move forward about a year and I'm finally completing the project. The higher fuel pressure ended up killing the stock injectors, so I really didn't have a choice.

Fuel system upgrades:
Walboro 255 LPH fuel pump
new fuel filter
AEM fuel rail
RC 320 injectors

I'm headed to P1 racing week after next for an SAFC II install and some dyno time. Wish me luck.

Well, the obsession started about 2 and a half years ago, with the need for a cheap econo-box. I usually drove a 94 Chevy C1500 pickup with a Paxton-supercharged 350ci V8, pushing 7psi, and nearly 400hp (fuel hungry bastard, I'm not afraid to admit). I found a freshly-graduated college chick with 2 kids, and her 95 Accord EX 2dr, and I coaxed her out of the car with $6,000, because she just bought a Tahoe (bet she regrets that move now, with $1.95 a gallon gas). Well, less than a week later, I had new Honda CVaxles, Brembo brake rotors, AEM pads, and 17" Racing Hart M5 3pc's (I just loved the wheels). Nice little chunk, considering I was only gonna drive this thing back and forth to college and work. I get into talking to Honda guys, and they started me into racing my Accord (you are now speaking to the inner dumbass). Say hello to AEM CAI, GReddy exhaust, p+p intake mani and TB, Nology wires, Apexi VAFC, and DCSports short shifter. I was competative, and the car held up very well. I eventually ran into a money shortage, and sure enough, the car started screwing up. I cracked 3 fuel injectors, blew the clutch, busted a motor mount, and bent one of the Racing Harts. I blew the rest of the bank on custom-tuned Venom 385cc injectors, Exedy stage 2 clutch, another motor mount, and sold the 17s for $400 (sheds a single tear). I was broke, had a pretty fast car, and mentally broken, from a shattered female relationship (so THATS where all the money went! DAMN!!!!) I went back, worked harder than ever, saved up some cash, and bought a set of JDM Stanley headlights (very swank, BTW). I then ordered a set of 18" Volk GT-7s, but one of the wheels was damaged by some greasemonkey who doesn't know how to mount tires on wheels with a lip, so I set it back, and didn't get the wheel back, for close to 3 MONTHS. While waiting for the last wheel to arrive, I went to Macon, and I found the largest deer in the southern area of GA (312lbs of venecine. I won the "JohnBoy and Billy's Big Buck Contest, without even firing a shot.) The deer caused $3200 in damage. I decided it was time to work on the body, since it remained stock, with the exception of the JDM headlights. I went with a CWest front bumper, modified M3 sideskirts, true BuddyClub rear bumper, new Stanley headlights, shaved hood pissers, shaved all emblems, and shaved trunk keyhole. I just got the car back from the paint shop today, but the rear bumper was actually for a 96-97 Accord, so it doesn't quite fit, and is being sent back. So, now here I sit with a very clean car, and no back bumper. strange, but it looks sweet from the front. I'll post pics, when I get the back bumper on the car, and painted.

My POS Hyundai scoupe decided to go to shite so I had to find something quick...I have always wanted a white accord and after months of not finding one I gave up. Then one night outta the blue this white accord shows up at this lot next to my bank...hit up the owner then the bank now i have a 96 Accord LX, Automatic. One thing I really dont like is the fact that the lady had a leaky aftermarket sunroof put in and had pin stripes PAINTED on! Man was I pisst so I put a phat black stripe in its place. Everything I have done has been cosmetic due to hour cuts at my job. I plan to do a swap or just tune the hell outta it. This is my first tuner..but I am already lookin to the wagons as my next venture.

About 2yrs ago I was peddling around in a 92 Celica STX. It had Intake and Exhaust, I tried to get a Header made but they messed up and sent the wrong one. That thing still sits in my Garage. Anyway I also have raised my kids alone since my youngest was 18mths; she is now 6. The Celica was getting kinda cramped. So I started looking for something to fit all our needs. Had to be 2dr, had to have some balls, and have cheap ass insurance rates, and have a big enough back seat for the kids. The Accord was all I could come up with to fit the bill. After searching for about a month I ran across Hitomi. She was a 94 2dr with 5spd. Thank you Car Gods. She already had alot of the basic bolt-ons but the F just wasn't cutting it. Sold the Celica and Immediately got the H. that was enough for about 1 month. Sold all the F bolt-ons and started over. Put a custom touring wing on, had to I have to have a spoiler. Found all the Euro Badging including the SiR. I've put on everything minus intake manifold and throttle body. The suspension is now low and tight, kidneys let you know that. Put in Mugen Racining seats and Shifter. She rides on ADR 18" don't know what model, just saw them and had to have them. Brakes are AEM big rotor upgrade up front with cross-drilled and slots. the Back are cross-drilled. I now own the fastest Grocery Getter in my Area. Fuckn A. Lay waste to any Civic or Integra in my Area minus 1. My buddy has a sick SOHC Civic with a shit load of boost, but now that I've gotten Sponsored, hes in for seein' my Accords ass. I am now officially a Honda Junkie!

It was May of 2004 and I finally had enough money to buy a car. I looked at a package deal of 2 Mustang GTs for $2500, but was not scheduled to test drive them for a week. In between i had seen an ad in a noname newspaper for a 91 Accord EX Coupe w/automatic 141k mi., sunroof,cd player, tinted windows and a couple of repairs recently performed. My mother suggested we go for a ride and test drive the car for s***s and giggles. Well we went to the owner's house, did a little visual inspection and started her up. There were little cancer spots on the fenders (typical Accord). I swear the car started as soon as the key turned over. As soon as I left the driveway I knew this was going to be my first car. The first drive was one to remember, you step on the gas, you go, step real hard and you really go. The handling was excellent and all the service record. were there. After owning the car for a month, I realized the balljoints were shot, and then the vehicle speed sensor went south. That caused multiple problems, as my speedo, cruise control, odometer stoppped working. Since my car is an automatic, the torque converter failed to lockup due to failure of the speed sensor, which cooked my tranny fluid. The car got sent to the dealership and the bill was $1400 including replacement of the balljoint. Then the front brakes were replaced at Pep Boys two weeks prior to this and when a mechanic at the dealership was inspecting my caliper cause they thought it was sticking found the pad was oversized and it was hanging off the rotor by 1/4 in. This could have caused my brakes to lock up uncontrollably, but I lucked out and got money back from them for that bulls**t. A week after that bs with the ball joints I got a clunking in the front end again, but it turned it was just endlink bushings on the sway bar rotted right off, but I am gonna order the parts and put in a nice after market piece. All was good until about 3 weeks ago when I thought my radiator fan went south or I should say I wish it did. I went out and bought a multilmeter and found out it was a short somwhere in the electrical system, cause the fan is fine. Well the car is going back to the dealership to get that fixed and a valve adjustment cuz I figured out Accords in general are a pain to work on and I dont have the patience to do it myself. An advisory to all people who own a Honda that smokes on startup use "Restore". Its an oil additive and I swear by that stuff. Now at 146k mi. it still runs strong. Matter of a fact i beat a kid at school in his civic 5-speed handidly with his girlfriend in the passenger seat...ahhhh the embarassment he must have had. Before I bought this car I wanted a Mustang, but now I am a true believer in Hondas, and I will drive Accords for the rest of my life. My current goal with this car is to at least hit 200k before I get rid of it, but after reading someone put 365k on his (i though 306k w/my stepdad's old Dodge 318 pickup was a lot) this car will be in for the long haul. PS: is 25 mpg w/93 octane a reasonable number for my car??? Thank ma for convincing me to buy this car!!!! Its funny cuz she tells me my car is 'to old to fix' yet her 1999 Olds Cutlass had to go in for service to get the intake gaskets replaced cuz they blew at 60k, yet my car is a POS????? Well I thinl its time for her to buy an Accord!!!!

Well It all started when i came back from a job in Nebraska. I had to help some family memebers with there farm out there and so they bought my a truck (which was a 87 crew cab fullsize bed with a 454 talk about gas sucker) as part of me helping them out well i didnt want a truck but when you are out in nebraska that is just about all you can get out there. So when i came back to Colorado with this truck i was thinkind damn i need to a better viechele then these truck. So i talked it over with the parents to try to convince them to help me buy a new car well that didnt work they said what i had was perfectly fine. So i went and registered the truck the next day well i happen to pas a dealership on the way back and there was a 97 accord cpe yolonda. So i had to stop and check her out had no intentions of buying just looking. talked to the Salesperson test drove her and fell in love but told the guy was not going to buy had no money or no way to buy it. He asked were i banked i told him and that was a bib mistake. cause when i left witht the car he was not with me when i test drove it he gave me the keys and said go have some fun so did. well when i came back he said he talked to the bank and they said that they can do a loan for the car in my price range could not resest so i bought yolonda left the truck there showed the parents they flipped out for about a week then they were ok with it. not even a week later i put aem cold air intake on it and throttle body spacer damn thing was fast went through my first set of tires in two months then not even year later i just put a cat back exhaust on her magnaflow extreme or something like that installed and everything for 180 cant beat that, i was a little upset cause i didnt want to cross bread on her but i did anyways, the exhaust sounds awesome on her and it looks stock as hell and it is not to loud either and now i am looking to get some tein ss on her soon but not to sure that is the story of how me and yolonda met and now i am a accord lover for ever

this is my first post so forgive me if if i screw it up.
my dad called me about a month ago and asked if i had any interest in an old accord.
i already had a car so i wasn't really going to get it.
talked to him a week later and just for the heck of it asked for any info on the accord.
he found out it is a 97 lx 2.2 engine auto tranny etc.
the woman who owned it had recently passed away and her son just wanted to get rid of it. come to find out it had 13500 miles on it. yes 13500 on a 97.
it took me about 1.5 seconds to change my mind about buying it. got an absolute steal on the price
so i flew to pennsylvania and picked it up.
drove back to colorado without a hitch and all seems well with it. not much in the power dept. but its probably going to last longer than i am.
this is my first honda so i'll be asking some stupid questions but from what i've seen on this site most of you are patient to the newbees. thanks for having me.

technicly this is my second post of this forum well my accord used to belong to my aunt and her husbend wanted to buy her a new car so she wanted to sell it(94 4dr model) i was still taking diving lesons at the time and i was working for the HP agent in my country (Bahrain holder of the first F1 race in the desort) anyway i couldnt afford it so my dad said he`d buy it for me for 1200 bahraini dinars which is about 3000 dollars im not sure. once i had a drivers lisence i had the car and stright away i was on the net looking for stuff for her it isnt esay getting parts for my car cuz we dont really have good tuner shops in bahrain you cant even find a simple body kit hear eather plus we have to MOT the cars every year hear and every thing that is not stock means your car wont pass.

mods so far are simota F4 racing seats, mugen auto shift knob ,ACE 206 17'' wheels,3d retro lights in the back and a carbon wraped muffler that i realy dont know the brand name but it sounds great it doesnt sound like an angry bee!

im really glad i found this web site its really cool

I got my first accord when I was 15. I needed a car to start practicing driving and to drive when I turned 16. An old couple had 90 accord they were selling in excellent condition, so my mom asked me if I want it. After a test drive I decided to get it(it only had 117k on it). I turned 16, and about a 3 months later I decided to do some mods. I made a ram air intake out of pvc pipe and put that in. Sounded good, but I wanted a louder sound. Me and my friends bought some metal pipes, and a 3aracing muffler, and welded it all together to make an axle back exhaust. Sounded pretty good, no buzzing. After a few months of looking through the papers and autotrader.com, I found a white 2dr 5 spd 1992 accord. Talked to the lady who drove it, she had it since 1992. In great condition, but needed a clutch(172k on it). Bought it, and had an exedy clutch put in it. Swapped the old exhaust and intake over, and thats where my accord is today.

Story of my accord...
When I had turned 16 my dad and I started to look at Jeep cherokees, so we found a 1986 jeep cherokee, repo'd for $350. It was in horrible condition, no front bumper, 2 doors didn't work, no stereo, mold everywhere (had been left in a roofless garage for 2 years with the windows down), 5 different colors etc.... So I spent all my money I made during the summer to fix it up, get a paint job, new bumper and a cd player. Well it was November, and it was the first day it had snowed. Unfortunately I didn't put it into 4 wheel drive, I was going down a hill slammed on my brakes like a moron, slid the whole way down the hill and smashed into a F350. Being that my jeep wasn't worth much, insurance totaled my car, and gave me $2,500 for it. So I started looking around for accords. I found a 91 LX 5 speed with 117K with some body work that needed to be done. We talked him down to $1,900. Then I started the project. Since I was short of funds the first thing I bought was a fart can and after that came a AEM cold air. I then went totally ricer and got euros and neons...WOW! soon after I took off the euros and neons. This summer I was working with my friend when he decided to sell his rims and tires (Excel MK-7s? and kuhmo ecstas) for $100 to me, that helped alot. Well anyways so far I've installed new headlight bulbs, plugs, ground wire, cai. I have skunk2 springs in a box waiting for spring time to come out. And that's my story

similar to blanquito, i had a bright yellow hyundai Scoupe 5 speed, slow as hell but fun, took a shit in april 2003 at 175,000 miles, not bad for a 1.5. anyway, spend 6 days shopping every within 50 miles of my home and found squat. walking out of a dealership that just tried to sell me a ford probe v6 gt noticed a plain beige car. saw the honda symbol and said, no way i'm buying a civic. it said accord. it had 73,000 miles and it had been repainted on passenger side, but price was 2000 dollars below kkb. so i took it out, by the time i got to sixty in second gear i said i'll take it. got the guy to knock off 200 dollars for a knob that needed replacement for the heater. hehe, knob costs six bucks. paid for the car cash in full and i've been dumping way too much money into the car ever since.

what?!

.ok my story...i bought this car specifically because i was in dire need of a better-looking car. so yeah, i got it for styling. i think the fifth and sixth gen accords look the best but the fifth gen was more attainable. also, i needed something a lil bigger with the potential to be fast. but, i did wanna stay outta trouble so i bought an automatic...i shoulda known better haha. at the time i was driving through a lot of traffic every day but i never thought it through for future drives and now i'm just stuck with an auto haha. i love the car but i wanna swap to a 5speed...but i'm actually torn between that or saving up for a bike...

my story sucks for me. i just got my 97 accord a week prior. I live in vegas and i was going to a job interview at the Mandlay Bay, when i turned into the garage i smack the friggen curb and it bint my rim pushed my alignment over about half an inch and now im screwd. i took it back to the dealer ship and had them look at it after i replaced the rim and tryed to align it my self (as much as i could) thats when they told me i bent my subframe. I didnt think i had a subframe?

Get the bike, assuming you mean motorcycle... The way gas prices are goin, you'll praise god for motorcycles. 70-80 miles per gallon, my dad rides, puts about six bucks in every week and a half.

As for my '93.. Well lets start with my "first vehical" aka "RED" a 1990 Chevy Astro. She was a beast, oh and a salvage too but Ricard neglected to tell us, so the first week we had it the tranny more or less, kinda-sorta crapped out on the way home from my grandmas', but it got us home. Got money from Ricard, got Red fixed. So, when my dad decided it was time for a newer van he passed Red onto me. Well I just got my "L's" October of 04 and the whole van things was 2 or 3 years ago. I never really got to drive Red so it sat and sat and sat. Dad then decided that it wasn't safe to drive and to me that they were gonna get a loan to get me a car... YEA FOR ME!! I already had what I wanted in mind, and that was V6. We looked at a couple places, a couple cars: An '02 cougar but it was too much, and a cavilier. Like I said I kinda new what I wanted, and what I wanted wasn't a Saturn or the ugliest Pontiac I'd ever seen in my life, but my dad loved it cuz it was 1000 bucks. Went back to Jack Maxton, where we saw the cavilier, after a call from them saying that just got in a "little" honda. They pulled it out little black 4 door... 4 doors make me wet, don't ask me why. But I didn't really, really fall in love with it until I got my license. Sold red for a grand, sorry my DAD sold Red for a grand.

I had big plans for Red. V8 swap, fully done up interior, killer sound system... I do miss her.

my story,
well i was going to get my licence in about a week and i really wanted a car. so i thought a good place to ask around was at school. my algebra teacher was selling a '93 accord 10th anniversary for $1800 and it came with an extra set of brand new snow tires. i was really excited i only had the car for about a month when i was driving home at night and a deer ran right out in front of me and totalled the car. i was so shocked and couldnt believe what had just happened. a couple days later the insurance company called and said i was getting $3200 for it! i was so happy and in two weeks i went out and found a '95 ex for $3000. i probly could have looked a little longer and got a better deal on a car but i didnt want to wait. ive had a lot of good and bad times with this car and hopefully i will have it until i get out of school and can finally get a new car which will hopefully be a honda(or maybe a ferarri lol)

my story ... dad bought me a 98 Accord. loved it all leather n stuff, couldnt ask for a better car. put all the money i had into it. then while parked at a friends ... lady hits my car and totals it. car was worth about 12,000 with around 3,000 put into it ... and only got 9,400 for it all. 2 weeks till i get another car, ill possibly have another accord story for everyone.

Well, my first car was not an accord, unfortunately. It was a 92 nissan sentra xe. my dad had given it to me when i was 15, thats the car that i learned to drive in. it was automatic and it was nice and all, but i wanted a honda.
then, i got my wish, not my complete wish, but part of it. i got an 86 prelude 2.0 Si. i loved that car. it was red, the guy painted it stock red but put like 5coats of clear, so its shiny as hell. i still have it(its for sale if anyone is interested). i got it for $1800. the whole front end was rebuilt. so it had like practically no miles. this car is still running very strong, and i have actually beat a few cars out there. i dont know how much Hp this car has, but from what i hear from other 2nd Gen prelude owners, they dont have much. but this one was diff. i dunno.
And now, about two weeks ago (today is 4/8/05) i got my 93 accord ex (it has the ex emblem, but the engine says f22a1 on it, so i dont know WTF?) i love this car. i got it for $3000. it has an immaculate greyish/blackish interior. the paint on the car looks like its new, with the exception of a few bumps here and there. the motor has about 153K miles on it. not bad, but i am going to swap an h22a into this car. i dont know if im goin to keep the exterior JDM or if im gion to get some kind of body kit. i know that im goin to buy Tein suspension, for like $700. then im goin to get a turbo for the h22(what would be the best turbo for this car? how about t3/t4? or should i go with the plain t3?) anyways, im planning to paint the car a dark metallic blue. then im goin to get racing tires and rims.
i dont have a name for it yet, myabe u guys can help me with that.

It was my senior year of hs and I was stuck driving a Lumina. One day the transmission went out in it and I started looking for a new car one day in my computer class. One day I was in there I was checking out the blue book value of the Lumina when my computer teacher asked me to check the blue book value of her car. So I asked her what it was and everything else. The value of the car came out to be $3,500, she told me she was selling it and was wondering if I knew anyone who needed a car. I told her I needed a car, I was like a teacher's pet in that class and was able to get away with almost anything. So she told me she would sell the car to me for $3,000 so a couple weeks later I bought the car from her. When I got the tags for it she asked how much it cost and then that afternoon she gave me a $100 check saying thats for the tags. So I had myself a 1995 Honda Accord EX w/ VTEC 138,000 miles with brand new tires. As for modding it, I started with cd player, clear corners, clear bumpers, and Sylvania Silverstars. Then in August I got my muffler, and for my birthday in October I got lowering springs, and then in November I got my APC intake. And now back in January I got my rims. I don't have name for my car and actually have been trying to think of one for it.

When I was in High School, I was all Chevy, down with Fords and forigen rice burners. I always told my friends that I would rather push A Ford than drive A rice burning forigen car.
Then I got into collage and was putting A lot of miles on my 78 Chevy Nova. So I bought A friends 1980 Accord hatchback for $1,000.00 . Thinking this will be A cheap mode of disposable transportation. I drove it for A year totally abusing it to no end. I only changed the oil in it once when I bought it. I once hit 85 M.P.H. sitting still on A snow covered street. I even let one of my room mates from Florida drive it. ( It was the first time he had driven on snow, Which he did good , only took out one mail box ).
After A year of abuse and never having the first problem with the cacr, I sold it for $200.00 to A used car lot, and I went back to my Beloved Chevy Nova.
It wasn't until 6 years later, my wife was tired of driving her Nissan and was wanting another car. and she picked out her 95 Accord ex.But I didn't care about the fact that she was buying yet another rice burner because at that time A had A 95 Dodge Dakota that would eat your lunch and leave you in the dust.
A few years later, after my Grandfater passed away, I sold my Dakota and bought A 1999 Dodge Ram.
Now this truck was A dream come true, I alway wanted A full size truck and finally got it. started fixing it up with light bar and lights CD player and A bunch of other things , oh yeh , my wife still had that Accord.
Then our Country went to war and gas prices started climbing, and it got to the point where I could no longer afford to fill up that Ram, due to it's never ending love for gasoline.
So finally I broke down and traded off my precious Dodge Ram and got my wife A new Hyundia Tusan, and I got her Honda Accord ( I've gone from 13M.P.G. to 30M.P.G. ). It's been three months now and I've finally come to realize that I was wrong about those little rice burners, and I actually enjoy A spirited drive on some back roads, and in the process of learning the art of drifting.
... sorry, never named the car....

my story goes something like this... i first started looking to buy a car in the middle of my soph year of hs i was mainly looking for a jetta/golf or gti (all vw dont ask why) then in the summer i found a jetta 5spd for about $4000 from a dealership and i called and he said it was sold when he said that i was pissed but then he said "but i do have a honda accord that has everything the same its just a better car" so im like ok ill check it out, so i go over there to check the car out and i saw it and i fell in love just the shaping of this car was beautiful the only problems this car had was the antinna problem it was broken the cat was rattly and the a/c didnt work to good, but i really didnt care this car was the one for me he told me on the phone it was for sale for 4000 and when i got there he wanted 5000, so im like hell no and i talked him down to pay only 3500, not fixing any of the problems but i didnt care cause i dont listen to the radio i like cds the a/c just holds the car back from its performance and the cat sheilds i just ripped off so now i have this awsome 95 accord 5spd and then two weeks later at my sisters graduation party my mom was in a hurry and i parked on the street (worst choice of my life NEVER PARK ON STREETS) well my mom was in a hurry and wasnt looking where she was going and ran right into the side of my brand new car , i still havent forgiven her for that, and she said she would have it fixed and i thought ok well then i guess it will be alright for a while but now its 6 months later and my door is still not fixed, oh and to add to that like 3 days ago someone stole my front passanger side turn signal, what are they going to to with one turn signal oh well so ever sence i got it ive been putting parts/monny into my car to make it the best accord to ever ride these streets, i dont have a name for her not untill she really purrs (H22 swap) then she will have the right name for her, but untill then shes just my baby

Well here goes, my wife bought (her) car a 94 Accord LX, 2Dr, 5Spd in winter 05 just over $4200 Cdn. Plus we were new to the East Coast of Canada in the valley of Nova Scotia, she needed a car for work and I needed my truck. She liked the car and said it was a (Sexy) car it wasn't boring like some of the other cars on the little lot. She didn't know how to drive manual, I said I'd show her. I knew the car would be mine heheheh hahaha oops it got away from me.
Well we've had the car now for over 2 yrs, she still drives my truck to work, except when I have a project (customer) car just won't haul a big trailer. I've had it in the ditch last winter broke the nose clips in a few areas got that taken care of, I have the rear bumper skin to repair because the muffler was rotten and hit the road on the end & rolled which broke the few clips, good thing they can be repaired.

Well the body has the usual rusty minor areas I'll take care of next Spring. I bought off Ebay a cold air intake, got to enjoy it a whole 3 weeks and had to put the stock intake back on as the cold air is here. I don't want it to look glitzy because of the salt they use in winter & don't have a lot of cash, so it's gonna get parts from Ebay.
The more customers I get, the more extras I can add to it it will be a SLEEPER car power under the hood and a very cool sound system for the Heavy Metal/Rock. Black rims, low profile rear wing, no body kit out here it'd get chewed up (potholes have a way with wrecking things) etc.

I like the car plenty and want to put the cash into, but don't want to lose sight of having fun and the end result. I'd like to get help if there's a few to help out.

i had a 1994 accord lx. not too bad, custom catback, invader cf hood, (now that i think about it) ugly z3 fenders, m3 mirrors, dropped 2.25", and 17 adk sokudos.

overall it was clean.

2 years ago when i started my job that im currently posting from, it got stolen. i didnt really have any money for a new car so i had to settle for a 1996 jetta, 2 days after buying the jetta (and $2000 dollars in debt) the MPD found my car on the side of the road, abandoned. apparentally the theives didnt know how to drive a stick, KILLED the clutch, and scraped holes in my radiator/everythingelseinthedamnundercarriage.

oh and they stole my cdplayer and speakers.

so when i got the accord back i had to sell it to pay off my TERRIBLE jetta. week after week something new was breaking or falling off of the jetta, my mom bought a new cavalier, and gave me her 1998 saturn.

as of now im still driving the saturn, but i have a big pre approved auto loan, and a handsome cash down payment ready.

and NO car to buy, i cant find a 7th gen accord that is a stick to save my life.

anyways, thats it.
