i have a few questions having to do with a h22 drop. can i use my f22b2 tranny and will my exedy clutch and flywheel work on it. is the h22 a straight drop in my car i heard something about a back motor mount not matching up. i know eveyr thing else should work, and do i need a long block or what. any help would be great thanks.

the tranny will work, but its not as strong as the h22's

what are the chances of me really messing some thing up if i use my f22 tranny? i have the money for a h22 with every thing but tranny, i was just wondering if i needed to keep saving.

most engines you buy online come complete with tranny

do i have to worry about anything braking from all the power in an H22 motor besides half shafts? Any provisions that should be made to prepare for that beastly motor swap?!

you can use the f22 tranny, but i suggest using the h22 because the half shafts are stronger and should be considered if u are going to run extra power. The accord's inner cv joint has a splined part of the half shaft, while the prelude's has a male spline that engages the strong cv joint casing, which is a much stronger design. As far as the mounts, all the stock mounts can be used, except you will have to slighly modify the stock left side mount for it to fit. I would suggest buying hasport mounts for the swap, they are stronger, and you wouldnt have to modify the left mount, but will cost you a little extra.
