Blew up my accord motor!

Well it came to the end for my accord. I just blew up the motor. I was driving up the Vallejo hill and once I reached American Canyon Road. My motor gave out. Black smoke came out everywhere. I pulled over and called Triple A to get a tow truck. Well thats the end for my accord. I guess I can't be racing for awhile until I fix my accord. Man its going to suck to be with out a car for awhile. Man I better break out my mountain bike. See if I still know how to ride it.

Noooo! the famous Accord that beat so many more powerfull cars. It kind of remainds me of Initial D, when AE86's motor gave out.

What are you doing next? Still getting '04 Civic EX coupe or what?

OUCH, how many miles you have on that motor? Most people i know have blown their motor in the process of gunning their engines not just riding around casually.

Duh, it says right there in your sig doesnt it. so you were probably at about 200k miles on that. Man that still sucks though.

Actually i would just get another used accord, like a 94 or 95 accord ex coupe. The H22 and tranny along with labor are going to cost about as much as another used honda.

Well like I said before I was waiting on getting another car. So I don't think I will be spending any money back into my accord. I love my 91 two door white Accord EX. I had some many good races with the car. I was suprise what my accord could do sometimes. But now it came to the end my Accord name Katrina has died on 9/20/04. May she rest in peace.

About the new 2004 Civic EX coupe. I am not too sure if I am getting yet. Trying to still figure out what I am going to buy. But for right now i have been driving around my dad's 02 Z71 Taheo. I love my dad's Taheo because it has hella torque. I don't get to feel that much power under neath the hood that often. But that bad part is that it hella suck gas like crazy.

I think new Civic's look nice, but again, I always liked the older ones also. I say get that or find a 03 Accord Coupe.

I like the 2003 Honda Accord Coupe except for the front end headlights. I love the rear end of the coupe but the front end of the kinda looks ugly to me. I can afford the Honda Accord Coupe EX V6, but I want something better on the gas miles because I drive so much. So I am really thinking about the Civic EX Coupe, Scion TC Supercharge, and Mazda 3 S.

I am leaning toward the Civic EX coupe. My step bro is a sales person at Hopkin's Honda in Fairfield. So I am going to get the car at MSRP price and they are not going to make any profit off me. But that is if I choose to buy the honda. But most likely I am.
