h22 civic VS. h22 accord

my cousin has a civic and its fast it has a h22 motor. when i used to race him whith my accord he always used to say man that wack shit wont smoke me so then i said to him watch in 2yrs. lets see who gets smoked. so as the next two years went by an h22 came into the accords hands and uh wee did it spank some ass.

You would have to have more than just the H22, civics are quite a bit lighter then accords and therefore would have the advantage unless you have some extra mods added that your friend lacks.

I was at the track the other day and there was a 5th gen H22 civic with H/I/E, some wires, plugs, etc basic junk... he ran 13's
H22 powered Accords are in high 14's low 15's so just because civics are lighter they are a sec faster.

civic is way lighter...either he didnt know how to shift or you have more than an h22 or he had a full car, a full audio set up and weights in the trunk...and yes, ligher = faster so civic should win easy over an accord.

Ok here it goes. If you put a stock H22 in a civic verse a accord with a stock H22. Of course with out a doubt the civic is going to kick the accords ass. But if you have a lot more mods on the accord H22 than the Civic H22 the civic is going to loose with out a question. You need to let us know what are the spec or mods on both cars and then we can tell you what car has won!!!!

the reason i picked the accord is because ive seen a race with a h22 civic and a h22 prelude 92-96 and the prelude only lost by half a car thats why i picked the accord plus i hate civics

as much as id hate to admit it the civic should win, based on info givin. i didnt even take the poll cause the info is kinda, well not there. civic h22 vs. accord h22....... thats it. like theres only one h22 ever made, and theres absolutly no mods to the cars thats these guys put so much time or money or both into putting engine swap in their cars. kinda shotty story, in my opinion. not trying to offend or call someone a liar, but this story needs some substance. im surprised it got as many replies as it did.

.i just assume that both cars have basic suspension upgrades, I.H.E., and no systems. given that, i think the civic should win, even though i'd hate to admit it. it's at least a good 500 lbs lighter so it should win no problem. they're running the same powerplant so it comes down to which is lighter.
