clear taillights

so i decided instead of paying for aftermarket clears, i would do it myself. damn yall, was i in for a treat. it was such a pain in the ass to get the damn 2 inch thick reflectors off. i used a pair of pliers, a bbq lighter, and some other random shit i found in the house. after an hour of struggling, i got it done. it looks really nice and clean. ill have a picture up ASAP.

has anyone else tried this?

i tried doing that with my 95 accord turn signal blinkers to paint the housing of them but i broke the lens to ish. so i was like not doing that again

haha at hyed, cool to envious. personally i like darker instead of lighter, which is why i have a black accord with 10% tint and am in the process of replacing all the carpet and clothe from stock grey to black hehe. the clears normally just look crappy on some accords i've seen but i havnt seen a home job before so it might be cool. its sweet you did it on ur own, i'd be lazy and have someone else do it :)

Are you talking about the tail lights, and do you have the one piece or two piece tailights and which did you do?
