does anyone know which makes more horses, the stock jdm h22 headers or after market ones? and if it is after market, then which are better to go with?

The stock JDM header is a great 4-2-1 design, the only reason an aftermarket header will make more power is the coating it has. So in that respect, if you can pickup a JDM header for a good deal, i'd just use that, but if you are are concerned about looks as well get the aftermarket (ceramic coated). DC Sports probably makes the most comprehensive and easily installed header i've seen (good gaskets and hardware i mean), but i'm sure Greddy makes one as well if your into that. Good luck, let us know what you decide and when you put it in!

ya if it comes with the dm eaders lready on it, then like you said stick with them... most of thetime the jdm swaps will have them on there anyways... if you wanted to use them, an try to pretty them up a bit, then you could always have them powder coated with the heat stuff they got out..

You don't have to ceramic / heat coat the headers if you decide to use the JDM ones, but you can if you want. I'd say if you can find someone to do it and it isn't too much money then go for it. But don't waste your money on it if it becomes costly.

I'm having a custom turbo exhaust mani made but its gonna be stainless steel. The company said they use to do ceramic mani's but they kept cracking. I know stainless steel expels alot of unwanted heat into the engine bay some i'm gonna either wrap them in the exhaust wrap stuff or get them ceramic coated. Which one would be ur pick?
