Went out to philly tonight with some friends came back to my car being broken into. I know with the accords you can use a flathead screwdriver and pry the door handle housing out and the door will open. Thats what they did. My boys car had the same thing done to his 99 another night. Fuckers got my head unit and my detector and some Cd's. They ripped the whole center console out. God I would love to get my hands them. Well I was just posting to tell you guys to watch your back. peace

That sucks! I hope you find them and make their life misserable.
When my Accord got broken into last time, I went to Kinkos that day and printed 3 banners that said "Reward for anyone with information related to the breakin of this car" and my number. Two were 2'x6' that went on the sides of my car and one was 1'x3' that went on my bumper. I got 6 calls from the signs and I ended up finding out who did it within one week of the breakin. I still haven't done anything to them yet, but one day they will pay.
Just an idea...it worked for me.
Another way is to put the word out that you're looking for a specific deck for your car for cheap. Request the exact same deck that was stolen. You've got to know someone that can get their hands on stolen goods, so have that friend keep an eye out for it too. When it surfaces, beat the shit out of whoever is selling it.

ya i would o with idea two.. just so that you can take frustration out on somebody for it...hehehehe... word gets around fast though.. i found out in two weeks who broke into my car the first time an had alot of ppl knocking on the guys door the next day... (it was not a pretty site to see).. ok it was beutiful..lmao.. he cryed like a baby..
they say 90% of the time when your car has something done to it..(theft wise) it is someone you know or someone that knows that person who knows you.. so you realy have to watch who your freinds are...
hope you find out, i would love to get my hands on the ones that did my car in.. basterds.. ill chokem out an then let my car disappear them...lol

hey Pat... what happen to ur car?
When it got broken into? Or the accident?
When it got broken into...they stole:
Kenwood Excellon PS-909 deck
Soundstream SA-245 7 channel amp
Kicker SS 500 (500x2) amp
custom bandpass box with 10" speaker
book of 300+ CD's
power distribution block
carton of Marlboro Lights
random change and money
The accident that destroyed my car was because of this:

Don't let me steal the show. This is your thread about your loss. The accident sucked, but I feel worse for you man. Do what you can to track them down. Once you find them, take them to a remote location, tie them to a tree, disconnect one of your spark plug wires, attatch it to their "clusters" and give the ol' key a few cranks;)

I like that idea!! thats not bad. I am gonna do what I can to find out some much needed info. As for the time being I am gonna go shopping for a new head unit and maybe a new detector. The estimate for the body work is another $250. As for my cd's well i guess i'll just do some downloading and burn some. Later dudes
