Does anyone have any of those rear strut bars from ebay for $30? Just wondering cause i am looking for a rear strut bar and don't want to waste 160 on dc sports, i figure it got to be the same quality but just want to make sure.

DC Sports is highly overpriced. At that link you can find an exact replica of the DC Sports strut bars, and they cost much, much less. Name brands don't always mean anything. Quality is the most important thing. If you can get high quality for a cheap price, then who cares about the name?

Yes DC Sports strut bars are overpriced and also weak. A lot of people say the EBAY $20 ones are much stronger than it. I like Neuspeed ones though, very tough.

yeah i love the neuspeed ones to but it sucks that they only make a front one for the 94 to 97 accords

yea true, I rather pay more for namebrand that I know is a good company instead of low price for no-name one

i did check neuspeed website and they don't make a rear upper for a 94 to 97 accord. I know they did start making them for the 98 but they just make a front upper for the 94 to 97 accord which i have already

Thats right, you get what u pay for... Ebay struts... big no no! I bought one and that shit was too short from one end to another. It was made for 1997 honda accord lx ex dx... but frankly I dont even think it would have fit an accord if it was as wide as a civic. I tried catching the threads rite at the tips of the strut and the metal was sooo soft that the threads came rite off. I threw that shit in the garbage and called it a day.

Ok so someone with firsthand experience says they suck so i will spend the money and get dc sports. Now i have to wait because i am getting a new front bumper with a mugen lip sprayed next week as well as my spioler resprayed because the clear coat on that took a shit.

megan racing is the exact same thing as dc sports, just a third of the cost. whatever you do, don't get a carbon one. composites are only good in tension. think of a really strong string between your strut towers. you would need to be pushing both wheels inward to get pure tension, i doubt anyone is running enough toe in to want a carbon strut bar

^What he said.
http://www.boneheadperformance.com has Megan Racing strut braces. They're identical in every way to DC Sports strut braces, except the name engraved is obviously different.

Megan Racing does, and it's identical to DC Sports, but a fraction of the cost. Being a broken record is cool!

they are both t-6061 aluminum. the only thing that might be different are the thicknesses, but i think they are very close.

If you can get your hands on some stiff aluminum rod, and you have any skills at all with metal working, you could build your own. Making your own stuff rocks. I mandrel bent some 3" aluminum tubing into the shape of a short ram intake. Also, I cut aluminum panels out to build my own custom filter box. Now I just need to weld the box together, get a 3" K&N cone filter, and make some brackets, and I'll have my own custom air intake system. Once I get that done, I want to work on an air duct from behind the lower grille up to the air box. Also, the coolest part about this I think, I'm going to paint the entire system flat black. Bling is for rappers.

When I finish it, I'll make sure to take pictures. The earliest I'll be able to get the box welded will be next Saturday, so until then the project is stagnant other than getting an air filter. Well, I guess I could install the intake tube until then, since I'll need that part installed to fit the box together. Then, once it's all together I'll have to uninstall it and paint it, then reinstall it.
Oh, does anyone know where I can find a black rubber boot fitting to attach the intake tube to the throttle body? I've got a yellow one, even though I'm not sure where it came from, but I'd really rather have a black one.
