Odometer doesnt work.. WHY?

A couple of weeks ago I was driving and all of a sudden my speedometer and odometer stopped working. Then after a while my "Engine Light" goes on... WHY? Has anybody gone through this type of problem? If so, can you gimmie some good advice or tell me what the problem is?

You have a 5 speed manual? Does your Check engine light blink? And does sometime does your tach just go crazy or just stop working. If so all your problems is your speed senor. It is located above your tranny. Unless you have a short in your system.

that happen to me...but worst...my odometer..n tach...just died...my instrument died..my windows died..it can't even roll up...so i got irrated...n i found a short cirtcuit....there...i redid everything...n it all work like nothing ever happended to it befor
