Hey, I live in MD and i found a place that can buy/swap and turbo an h23 or H22 with low miles for $6800. H23/H22-$2000 Garret Turbo-$3000 labor $1800. Complete change over they said they'll do it in a week and give 90 days unlimited mileage warranty. Also, the best part is that i have saved up 3000 right now and i can finance 3800 remaining from them. So technically i could have a 300hp accord next week PLUS my 55 shot nos.... it will be a killer. But do you guys think i should do it. Is it worth it, remeber its my daily driver! AND i'll be in debt to the shop making huge payment s of $211 for 18th months. So what you think?

H22+Turbo=daily driver? That just isn't right. Honestly, you think that you are going to be in debt for the engine, wait until you see how much gas you are going to be going through. If you really do want the H22(as most of us do) and it is going to be your daily driver,I would go without the turbo. The price they are giving you for the engine and labor though is a really good deal, just be careful the engine isnt junk.

yeah man dont do it. that set up is for guys who can do it all themselves. and definiatly not for daily driving. it also brings up another question for yourself. if you have boost, nitrous, and vtec going all at the same time on an engine that is basically stock internals, how fast do you think your valves can open? cause that will detonate very quickly

Now that Chad....is going to haunt me in my worst nightmares! LOL.
Hopefully none of us will ever have to hear this BOOM!
P.S. I doubt there will be a boom with a non-vtek H23 with only 8psi and 55 shot nos. Not enough power to blow up a long H23 big ass block. but then again... I've seen worse!

cashmoney is running H22A and turbo at around 10psi on his 2001 Accord he said, and he's still getting good mileage he tells me, his car is daily driver also from what I understood.

I mean you can turn the boost down when you drive around but only turn it up when you race someone right? That should help you on gas.

Defenetly... I dont want to get into the debt and allso I'll just get H22 first or H23 (still debating) and drive around with that.... saving up for turbo... That way i wont owe anybody anything and also know the feeling of naturally aspirated h22.. get used to it.. its like 70 more HP for me... well maybe 50 cuz of my currents mods... but still. Bolting on 50-60hp is awesome. Anyone knows any good innexpensive cites where you can just get the engine alone. I dont need the tranny.
