on the subject of the man't req'd light i own a 2000 coupe and my maintenance required light won't go off. I've changed the oil(which by the way was the prob) and i know to hold down the odometer peg to shut it off but the light just stys on. Anybody else had this prob...hit me back.

Mine just came on last week for about 10 sec. every time I start the car. I went to the Honda dealer and they say I just need to reset it again. In the manual it says if the light keeps blinking after 10 seconds you need to have a dealer check your car..

DAMMIT, I have the same problem. At first the light just blinked when i turned on the car and since about a couple of weeks ago the light has stayed on. Everything sounds fine with the car. Maybe we can put our heads together to find a solution. car - 2000 accord coupe 4 clylinder

i recommend to get it checked out, i dont think it will cost a lot. also check the cars fluids levels, antifreeze, etc.

Hey, you guys probably know this already. My dealer told me that the light comes on at predetermined intervals (for example, 60K Miles and 90k Miles), and to reset it you have to do this wierd combination of stuff. I think it is pressing the odometer reset button while starting the car or something. I will try to remember to find the exact sequence.
