SiR Foglights

I recently purchased a pair of 95 Accord SiR foglights from a guy on EBay. They were strictly the lights and a relay to run power through. My question is, what kind of wire should I use for this setup? (i.e.- speaker wire, power wire like that for an amplifier, etc.)

go to pepboys and buy some 12 gauge or 16 gauge power wire and it will be fine. I have a set of piaa foglights and the wire is only 18 guage so u don't need real thick wire. Just watch where u place the relay though because i have ruined one.

did heat ruin it?

i was running a cold intake and it looks like water came up throught the hole from the fender well and eventually corruded it

got ya! I plan on putting some kind of protective "box" around it anyway to keep any heat or moisture away from the relay.

yeah u should be fine then, i think it actually corroded because i was at college and my car was buried in snow for a coupl of weeks cause my family sucks and didn't take good care of my ride. When they finally cleared all the snow off the battery had died and i had to pay to get a new one a month later because it got fucked because of that.

Similar thing happened to me with my 1st accord. Left for boot camp (in the Marines) 2 years ago and told my dad to fire up the accord and drive it about once a week. They didn't move it for a full year and when I got back it was in such bad shape from simply sitting there I went ahead and sold it rather than mess with it. :(
