I have a '91 Accord EX-R, and I bought a JDM H22 a couple weeks ago. I have not attempted the install yet and im wondering if anyone has had trouble fitting theirs in, and if you had to buy a mounting kit? Thanks.

they tend to fit rather well.. most problems that people have are with the ac lines and the ecu wiring harnesses

It's easier from underneath instead of above. If you have a hydraulic car lift, I recommend dropping from the bottom with the cross-members and suspension. It's just easier, but even dropping it in from up top is no big deal. Watch the TPS sensor and keep it from getting smashed against the firewall, and watch the underdrive pulley by keeping it from hitting the side mount or frame. It's a tight fit, but it fits perfectly.
