OK i have been having this problem for awhile. My power is being drained somewhere and I cant figure out where. Is there anyway to detect a power leak.
also can it be my battery? my alternator charges it up but the power goes away after sitting like 3 days.

your battery may hold enough charge to start the car but not much more than that and it could drain easily over three days...A fully charged battery can drain in as little as 2 weeks just sitting, if your battery is weak and dying, you should look into having it replaced because it puts a strain on your alternator having to keep it charged all the time

goo idea, bt why dont you just go to an auto part store an have them run a test on your electrical.. it tests the alternator an the battery at the same time.. its free, an takes like 3 minutes to do... if it is the battery then i would suggest getting it replaced before it leaves you stranded somewhere you dont wanna be... if its the alternator i recamend the same as well... my cr was doing something simaler to that a while back,an it turned outthat the starter was goig bad.. i replaced it an it worked fine.. you know how hondas are though.. (it is almost never what you think it is).. so have it all checked out...

It does sound like your battery, but they tend to die within a day or so - they don't drag on for weeks. I drive mine mostly on weekends, and it starts up fine. It doesn't sound like your alternator as problems with this would also result in your car dying. A battery just holds enough juice to start the engine as the alternator isn't running. When the engine's running, the alternator actually supplies all the electrical requirements for the car as well as re-charging the battery.
Get the auto electrician to run tests and they'll find out where the drain is occurring. Could be a light staying on, amps not wired properly, etc
Best of luck though

Another possibility: U have a short somewhere...
It happened to my dad's old tercel, it always drained the battery. Even he put new battery and new alternator. So he always loose the battery cable from the terminal after he use the car and put it back when U gonna use the car (that the easy way/solution for U now if U don't wanna drain it..) Finally his mechanic found that his old stock stereo got short and keep draining the battery. After he put new stereo, it runs good.... no mo problemo :D

ok it has been a couple of days since i unplugged the negative battery cable and today i went to go put it back on and the alarm wouldnt shutoff because the battery was low so is it possible for batteries to drain out juice by themselves right?

yts possible to happen...what it could be is that one or moe of the batterie cells are bad, this could cause the battery to die quickly. i replaced mine do to this reason a couple of ties... half the time it is just a bad battery, an nothing to do with what you got hooked to it...
