ME vs. CELICA GTS

well i was driving on a 4 lane highway about 2 miles from the interstate. i was stopped at a red light when a red celica gts came up beside me revin it. i was pretty sure i could take him w/ my h22, intake, headers, exhaust. well when the light turned green we were the only ones sitting there so we ran em. i beat him off the line and kept on making a larger gap between us. by the time i was at the on-ramp to the interstate i started slowing down from 90 mph. i had beaten him by about 4 car lenghts at 90. when he saw that i was gettin on the interstate he followed. when we got on he flew by me thinkin we were still racing so i caught up with him and at about 80 we started racing again and i left him and started slowin down at about 140 mph. i knew i am pushin at least 225 hp and he was pushin no more than 200(gts stock 190). i thought it was a pretty nice kill.

congrats, GTS is 180hp stock, I barely beat one on a highway once, their pulling power really starts to fall down after about 90mph.

whats the big deal with F20b? Wouldnt you rather have a H23 non vtek engine to turbocharge since you are going turbo anyway? H23 is a bigger engine and with some work it could hold a lot of boost. 2.3 liter VS 2.0?? Can someone tell me whats so good about f20b engine?

my friend had a GTS til he got a DUI, but he had that thing so damn fast, he smoked my friend with the RSX-S by like 6 cars, and RSX's sure as hell arent slow

I hear people are having hard time launching the RSX-S's for some reason, I mean its not just cause they maybe cant drive, even good drivers.

accord f22 can and cant take out gt-s.. my friends got one which was bone stock but lowered with GC.. thsi guy can drive.. cuz this is his 4th car.. lol he had a civic turbo before but messed it up drifting.. anyways like i said if u race a guy that can drive.. gts are quick.. anyways. i am hoping to run him again when i get new treads cuz my suck rite now haha but nice kill

ummm gt-s are 15sec, low 15's at least, accords with f22's are like high 16's.

there you have it.. lol .. it is pretty close i guess. .but it is all bout the drive most of hte time.. cuz i killed at h22 lude.. haha.. it was awesome...

tuning and driving makes the biggest difference.. you can have a skyline R34 gtr vspec and if u cant drive it, a caravan will win.
if your H22a4 is in crappy condition since you dont know that you need Motor oil instead of vegetable oil, then im sure a geo metro will beat u uphill...
