I was looking into buying a 96-97 rear bumper for my 94 Accord to get rid of the ugly line in the bumper. I'm looking to get the exteme front bumper and w type side skirts and put the w type rear lip on a 96 coupe rear bumper. from what i understand the 96-97 rear bumper will not work. can anyone help to get that line out or tell me how i can mount the 96-97 rear bumper?

well i dont know exactly how to get that channel thing out, but you might be able to use some sort of plastic filler or something like that... as for how to mount it, i have no idea.. sorry..

What do i need to do to get the 96 rear bumper on my 94 accord? Change the bumper mounts, update the trunk too? why do people say it will not work? please don't tell me i have to trade in my 94 honda for freaking 96 just because i like the rear bumper!
this is the look i'm looking for for my rear w/o the 96 trunk although this trunk is nice also:

that first pic is just awesome. i love the taillights, and the lip kit looks really nice too. as for fitting a 96 bumper on, i would try to buy a bumper at a junkyard, or something, and take of yours, then compare the 2. you might be able to make little brakets to change the mounts. you might also need to do some body molding. for some reason, i think the 96 bumper is a little wider.

yeah they dont match up, you would have to custom fit it

U try to add more headache to yourself cause they won't match... but don't worry, some people called it a "challenge" :D :D :D
