the rims are 15" konigs.. they came on the car when i bought it off the lot 4 years ago... but they are still sold today, they go for about $600.00 a set... they used to be aluminum colored, but i painted them graphite using that duplicolor paint.. i dont know if you reember the old pics that i had posted on the old forum, but they are the same rims, just before i painted them...

why is this in tech support? this should be in opinions or general discussion.

ya i dont like the rims either.. when i get a good enough job, ill be saving up for the mugen rims, an the mugen lip kit as well.. but for now as you can tell the car is pretty much stock... ill hopefully be painting it in the next couple weeks.. im hoping...
the engine is not going to get any love from me.. its f^ck3d with me one to many times, so now im going to trash it an get the swap... yes thats right,, swap time....
yes the one in the pic on the left is my moms.. an the one on the right is my girl... the pics dont do much justice though..
an joon i put it here cause i wanted it here...lol.. if phil wants to move it he can do that, so untile then quite postwhoring my thread...hehehehehe

what style you going for? your own personal thing? wild? jdm? i can put input on your car but i would want it to come out like similar to my car. my car is nice to me and your car should be your own deal too. my essentials of making a car look nice is get a good paint job dont be cheap and always get nice rims. im very against cast wheels since IMO i think they are just junk and a way of screwing people over for money. dont try to get ideas from other people. get it from yourself it works the best.

well im going for the hole (surprise) jdm thing... i got a few tricks up my sleves that im workin on right now... but what i want is ppls opinions like what you give joon.. i wanna see what others think looks good an ish like that you know what im sayin.. kinda colaberat ideas together an come up with something totaly better...

also i was wonderin on the strut bars, is it better to have the adjustability or is it better to have it a solid peice just welded... if thewelded solid is better then im going to make custom strut bars uper/lower an interior....

jaccord96

make me one, and make it beefy....

welded is definitly better. all roll cages are welded because there is less twist and loosness. adjustability in strut bars are cheap stuff.

in my opinion i would start off with a nice color scheme. think about interior and exterior and how to get it together. then i would think of what type of rims to get. like if the car is dark blue i would personally chose a black centered rim with a nice deep lip. widebody is always a plus because it always adds some aggressiveness. dont over do it on the exhaust. something that is simple like remus exhaust are usually in the log run the best route. also dont do that blocky wide body that civics do those things never really make the car look nice. if your going to go with a deep dark glossy color always chrome is a good accent to make the car look nicer. paint a design on your hood that makes the cf look like it comes out at you and all that. get that one piece black housing light that just came out too. smoked jaguar s-types are always a good deal on the back. shave all excess lines and all that. ill add more later

yeah that is why im not doing my swap yet.. im going to be saving up for the front cut here in a little while... i can get it from this guy i know for about $1500. an that will come with everthing but the motor.... but im selling the car i have now, an im going to be buying a two door instead before i do this... so well have to wait an see what luck brings me...

Damn she's lookin good! I ment the car you pervs. haha I remember seein your car totally stock (minus the rims). It's definitely been through some good changes. As for suggestions. You said you plan on getting rid of it to buy a 2 door....so why are you even dumping money into it right now? The more you put into a car, the harder it is to part with. I say don't do anything else to it for now and save for the next one (think of all the goodies you can get for it), or keep modding this one and forget about getting another one anytime soon. You'll save yourself some money and have plenty of time to plan things out before the next dollar is spent. That's my suggestion.

this ist the thing.. i wanna see what i can get for some ideas now for when i do get my new car... im either selling this one as is, or im going topu it backto stock, an sell it like that an keep all the toys an ish from that one for my car.. but idunno yet... well see what happens....

yeah, that was the $800 ebay special that I swapped the H22 into. I'm fine, but the car had too much structural damage so I had to put it to rest. I still have it though....it's just sittin in my front yard taking up space.:(

I bought a green 93 EX (my third 4th gen!!!) that I'm using as my daily driver for now. Pics comin soon..

As for fixing your idle....Gimme a lil time, but I'll email you everything you need to know. You'll have it set perfect in no time. Any other current issue with it?

I like the idea of modding your current car just to get ideas of what to do on the next one. This one may not turn out the way you expect and you may not get what you want for it when it comes time to sell it, but your next one should turn out 10 times better and that makes it worth it. If you're serious about modding and gonna stick with it for the long haul, then a few practice cars are a damn good idea. I think you'll do alright;)
