My 92 Honda Accord LX will not start. I have replaced the starter, alternator and battery. The car will start if i get jumped or if i push start my car. I think that the battery might be bad but I just want to hear some opinion from your guys.

try checking the ground for the starter where its bolted to the engine block, sometimes it rusts loose and you get a bad connection... if not go have the battery tested at an advance auto parts...ive boughten bad new batteries before myself

COuld be your alternator, because you have to jump it, the alternator charges the battery and if you have to keep jumping it, then maby its the alternator, or most likely the battery is bad, if you have a volt metter you can test it out yourself, just make sure the battery is fully charged, it should be around 12.50V and then go in your car put the key on acessories and turn everything on, brights, re-defroster, radio, ect. and check the volts, it should be at a steady drop no lower than 10 volts and it shouldn't just keep dropping volts.

if you want to do a test on it when you get the car boosted try disconnecting the positive end of the battery if the car turns off then it maybe your alternator, else it might be the battery. Get the battery tested

that same thing happened to my 92 accord lx, an alternator didn't help, or a starter, or a battery, it kept dieing. it even died when we were driving. What it turned out to be on my car is the Igintion Control Module. its this thing about a 1.5 inch long .2 inch high chip looking thing that is in the distributor it has four wires going to it. change that before you buy anything else to try to fix it. it takes like 20-30min to change. But disconnect the battery before you replace it (trust me!!).

check the battery could be bad, if tested ok check the charging system. if car will not start with a good battery, could be a starter or ign.. to check ign get a back probe pin and back probe the solinoid. you will need a volt meter with mid max or another person to crank the car. start the car and see that it is getting 12v to the solinoid. if not then you have a problem i nthe ign system and have to address that.... get back with the first test and i will go fro mthere with helping u

touch the positive end of that battery and another piece of metal and you'll find out real quick what it feels like to be a ground wire.
