Ok...this really sux. Anybody else whose got a 6th gen v-6 hit me up on a PM or AIM cause i think my rear main seal's leaking which from what i heard over from the v6p guys, REALLY sucks. Has anyone else had this prob on a J30? I'm not 100% sure its the seal. I took it by my mechanic today and he doesn't work on newer hondas that often so now i gotta go to one of his friends' shop to figure out if its the main seal. From what i've read up on this thing its like one of those "gotta break into the engine to replace" sorta things, hence labor fees out the ass. But the weird thing is that he said that those seals don't usually go out until round 100k-140k. I ONLY GOT 60k!! wtf!!?? Is this true? Anybody replaced one b-4? hit me back

im currently having the same problem on my car. a very good mechanic is going to only charge me 250.00 to replace it with my assistant. i was told that the tranny has to come out, including the torque converter. good luck on it.

well i figured it wasn't the seal. It was dirty tranny fluid comin out(my mechanic said it was oil). But i took it to honda and i got a refurbished tranny out of it for FREE!!! thank God for warranty's :D
