I think the fast car race I ever raced was agains a Mercedes-Benz E-320. I was driving home from Los Banos. If you guys don't know where that is it close to Fresno. Well on the way home. I was driving on Interstate highway 5 and I was doing about 100 mph. I had my radar on so I was scaning the road. It was about 3 am in the morning during last summer of 2003. Well I came apond a Mercedes-Benz E-320 in the fast lane. He wouldn't move out of the way. So I tried to past him up on the slow lane. Then he sped up. He was being an ass hole and wouldn't let me past him. I had to jump back into his lane because there were other cars in the slow lane. For people that don't know about Interstate highway 5 it is only a 4 lane highway. 2 lanes going South and 2 lanes going North. Well anywas I turn on my high beams and blinded him, he was pissed. So he and his friend started throughing things out the Sun roof. water, soda, water bottle. I know he was pissed because he was eatting my blue high beam lights. Well then he tried to take off on my ass. He was pushing it over 100,110,120,130, Can't see how fast I was going. I tach out my speedometer. All I know I was riding his ass then I pulled right on the side of him. And slow crep past his car. I was laughing he hit his speed limiter. He couldn't go any faster. I was slowly beating him. I think that was one of my best races to beat a Mercedes-Benz.

Jetta TDI..he didnt know how to drive though and had his girl in the car so after i blew past him i slowed down and then he caught up and gave me the finger..what an asshole.

well then let me explain..im going down a road i hear the jetta from behind me bc of it's loud as exhaust and he pulls up next to me looks at me and then takes off..so i catch him pass him slow down and he pulls up and gives me the finger..now is that a ricer fly by? If It was I wasnt trying to it unless its a good thing haha?

hahah yea you beat him I guess. I dont think those Jetta diesel's are fast anyways. They gotta a lot of torque though, but pretty much all diesels do.

By the way, I love the exterior on your Accord, especially those rims.

haha yeah those are nice i was looking at wheelmax and found the ones I wanted and I went to order and they didnt have them in stock so I went to speedandstlye.com and got them with free shipping which most websites come with..balanced and all that for about $1000..i belive I got 215/35/18 but I cant remember..they also got to my house in 2 days! It may be different for anyone else because there store is in miami and thats where I live lol so I guess when you think of it thats really not that quick..and thats for the comments on my car..i like the clean look but now I need to do something about that motor!

beat my friends 2000 prelude sh.. 5peed... hahaha race is a race.. he mis shifted twice.. dumbazz.. we raced late nite on an open road.. dead stop and we too off.. he was suppose to run my cuz teg but my cuz took too long so i pull up.. i forgot to strighten my wheel so i peeled out going the wrong way.. but i correct and i was still with him.. we all noe 3rd kinda laggs... but luck my he fawked up.. he dropped like a foot but thats all i needed and i stayed in front the whole way .. hahah good times good times

beat a new chevy truck (sounds hella loud like a v8).. lowered rimz.. he waited for me at a stop sign.. iwas like how come hes not going.. i stop and start to go slowly.. then he goes.. i punch it in first and we where off.. i stay with him till we hit a down hill curve and he pussied out or something.. funny cuz he wanted to race mee.. hahah and this was when i first got my car with only an aem inttake.. haha

Being this is my first post, I figure I'd start here....Fastest car I won against in my stock 96 accord LX was a 300zx. Was on I-10 in Florida going home from P-cola to Ft Walton Beach and this 300zx come up on my tail and is riding my azz in the slow lane then jumps out in the fast lane, I'm doing about 75mph so I drop to 4th and gun it, this guy had no clue how to drive, I think he missed trying to down shift, but I started to leave him, I got about a few car lengths in from of him and about this time the rev limiter kicks in so I slow down. The guy comes up beside me and asked what I had under the hood, I tell him just a cold air intake, he says BS and I said whatever and he takes off, but I told him the truth, so ne way wish I had the H22a in my car that way I could have smoked him more, LOL, hope to have the money for it by the end of this year and then we will see what happens. I also beat a 2001 Prelude at the track, really pissed the chix off, it was still stock at the time also, LOL, gotta love these cars. By the way I've read alot of the posts here, lotta good ppl here and great posts.

(this has nothing to do with the thread but i started the thread so i gave myself permission lol) i got pulled over today after leaving school..apparently their is a 240sx that goes to my school and i was driving behind an suv and he was behind me and the suv was driving slow so he passes both of us...then i get to a stop sign and now im behind the 240..he takes off from the stop sign and makes a hard left which is the way i go everyday too and i took the turn hard and was going to go in the lane next to him so i started to go but instead i decided not to so i pretty much jerked the wheel..nothing major no would notice or say anthing about it..so im going about 40 and the speed limit is 45 and im about to accelerate and i see a motorcycle on the otherside of the road and here in florida we have cops on bikes so just incase i slowed down a bit and i watched him in my read view mirror and saw him make a u-turn and start coming..so he puts on his lights pulls me over and told me how i took that turn a little fast and im like well i wasnt going more that 45 so i wasnt speeding and he is like well you almost lost control on your car..did you notice that and im like no..so he asked for liscence and reg. and then came back and said it seems you dont like cops much and i didnt say anything and he let me off with a warning and told me he could write me a ticket for wreckless driving but good thing he didnt haha..just thought id share that..i guess i got pretty lucky

the best car we killed was a BMW 3series . it was my cousin n me . We were driving on Champlain Bridge (montreal , Canada) the bridge is about 3 km long . we got on the bridge around 110 km/h ,as we got close to the BM , he took off , the my cousin downshifts to 4th his 91 accord EX and catch back on him in less than 10 sec. we slowly start to leave him behind . there was enuf trafic on the bride. the BM was pushing the pedal to da floor time to time but my cousin would cut him always cuz of his driving skills. at the end of the bridge we slowed down to take the exit to downtown , there i saw the BM pass by us around 190km/h but i gotta admit that my cousin is the best driver i know so far .... it was a good kill for the his accord..

I'd like to add a Ford Lightning to my list. I was eating in the restaraunt with my girl on a nasty rainy day in MD. So some guys behind us at the table were talking shit about my parked accord outside that you could see from the inside. I didnt say anything so i continued my meal, paid the bill and we left the restaraunt. As we were pulling out they got in their truck (3 guys) and it was a Ford Lightning. I'm like whatever. So i pulled out and left the lot. They are driving behind me gunning the engine. I'm like WTF? U got a V8 Supercharged. pick on someone else. So there goes a red light. I stopped. They pull next to me. Start revving. The green goes. I did a 2500rpm launch and my brand new tires grasped the road and I took off without any spin. So i get a car lenght on them. And then i see the truck started smoking tires and his back started drifting from side to side. He lost complete traction in rain and with rear wheel drive. I gunned it in 2nd and 3rd. By the time his dum ass realized that he just got smoked by an accord i was long time good 25 cars on him. So the moral of the story... if you cant race dont talk shit. he would have smoked me in dry weather but winning is winning.

i spanked a 300zx (non twin turbo).

the guy was probably short shifting (underestimated me).
i admit i started a fender in front of him, but i wasnt going to race, so when the light turned green, he peels out...comes up even with me...THEN i took off, gained my fender back, and gained on him :P

i dunno why he would short shift because when i took off, i took him off the line.....maybe he couldnt drive..

Early 90's Ferrari Testarosa. Not even an hour ago. Some office-jockey pulls up to the line at a red, and I figure it's worth a shot, so I start jumping at the bit. He looked over, light turned green, we both hit it, and the poor italian stallion sputtered and died. Amazing but true, and it gets better, after he got it started again, he started charging up the lane, coming after me. Just about when his nose hit my rear tire, I looked back and saw blue lights flashing out from behind him. I guess they'd rather pull over something worth pulling over since I was doing about sixty in a thirty. Damnit, I love when that happens.

this isnt the fastest car ive beat but good story, i let my girlfriend drive one day. i sat in the back seat because i had pass. seat out at the moment. we get a block from her house and some kid in a legacy starts reving his engine at her. he jumps her off the line, but she cranked right by him after second gear. then were on the interstate, and this black civic pulls up next to her and starts speeding up and slowing down like he wants to race. so i told her to bring it up to 85, wait till he starts slowing down , then shift into 4th. she friggin destoryed him, he just couldnt keep up. it was the best cause they all must have thought it was her car, not being able to see me through my windows. and a little off subject, but is it me or does the 4 cylinder have a better 0-125 time then the v6? i talk from experience cause my ma's v6 seems sluggish at higher speeds, even more then my 4 banger.

The 6's have some pull, but like most 6's, they're dog engines. And we're not talking greyhounds either. The new VTEC 6's with a 6-speed have some getupandgo, but the earlier versions are definately lacking in the acceleration department.
