Does anyone know where to get black interior parts (mainly the plastic interior bits)? I know Honda just made their interior colors up to gray, but is there another manufacturer that sells black interior parts? I bought some black spray about 8 months ago and it supposedly holds its color forever on plastic surfaces, but it failed on me. It's beginning to fade and chip away! If there isn't any black interior parts, which paint do you people recommend? And is it expensive to strip out the dashboard's stock color and refurbish it with another? or should I just paint it?

if you are trying to work with a budget, then just go to just about any hardwere store an buy some KRYLON FUSION paint.. it is made specifacly for plastics... but just make sure that you are sanding down your surfaces before you paint them, this will insure a better hold with the paint.... as for the dash an al lthat stuff get some vynal dyies, aerisol cans are what i used.. just remember cheap is not alwasy better.... so expect to pay more for this stuff... an make sure you follow the directions as they are stated on the cans.. now as for the rugs an matts, just get those made.. i died mine an they lasted about 3 months an are worn out now..

I'm really not working on a budget. I finally have enough money to get my interior customized and my exterior straightened out, primered, and painted for now (i'm thinking of a 04 TL grayish color). I know a place where cloths and other fabrics are sold. I found a kind of cloth that's better than the oem carpet, so i might just go with that. Now all I need is black seat belts.

ya i was thinkin about trying to get the seatbelts out of an integra or out of just about any honda that has black interior.. but im not feeling like workin with the seatbelts yet, so my tan ones can wait... al the rest of my interior is almost all black now.. all except for the front an rear seats...

as for the color i wanna go with for my car, i dunno.. i wanted the graphite color on the is300 but everyoine in there mom has a grey accord now, so that option is slidding away very fast, then i thought of championship white.. but then i started noticing all the imports around here are going with white as well if not grey... so i think im leaning more toards a darker color with some kind of pearl in it... just dont know what color pearl i want if i do it at all.. im aming to have it done the first month of the year though.. so i better decide fast... there was this dope looking brownish color that i seen on the newer 03 jaguars, it looked pretty nice.. (but its brown)... so i dont know...

im new but ive been trying to color my interior for a while too. and i tried to use the FUSION stuff but it wouldnt hold to the plastic i wanted to color. so i just bought straight up spray paint. did very light coats of the color i wanted many many times. its like some of the paint will stick then the next coat will stick to the dried paint. and so on and so on till its covered. i got some pics of the semi final what it looks like. one some of the pieaces that i know where going to get the most use, and i clear coated then too. the rest i didnt. so ill try and get those pics up or links. to them.

I am also redoing my interior black and red along with everyone else in the world. I had a quick question on the vynial paint. The material on my driver side door has a small tear and i know how to replace it(i was going to get some cheap vynial or since i'm going to paint it anyway) should i paint the vynial before i put it on the door or will the paint crack and flake off when the material is shapped?

i myself would wait to use the dieys untile after it is on the door jsut to be safe an make syure it dont peal for some odd reason.. also if you have a tair in the vynal, why not just buy a repair kit an fix the tair instead of replcing the hole peice..?? or is the tair that bad... just a suggestion.
