Does anyone know what's the remedy for slow power windows besides buying four expensive motors for it? My idiot of a brother drove my car with the windows down while it was raining (such an idiot) and i guess a little too much water seeped inside.

um you might be able to spray some of that aerisol lubricant onto the tracks of the windows an also on the gears an stuff.... that is what you can do most of the time, but if it is off track at all that could be causing the windows to move slow as well... if it is still moving slow after you do this, then you might wanna consider taking it in an having it looked at an see what somebody else says about it... it might just be that you are going to have to replace the motors... you dont know untile you try though right.. good luck.

I gutted out my doors today and found out that all my windows weren't alligned with the rail. I also put some lubricant on the gears just in case. So I might not need the motors. Although they did have water on them (sucks). Thanks again

I've noticed in my car whenever i would put the windows up or down it would wobble or make a snapping sound. I also saw that it would go up unevenly. When i took out my panels i found out that the rail was a little slanted. The bolt on the right was also loose. All i did was reallign the rail and retightened it. That was just one of my windows. I guess i'll fix the others later. It still goes a little slow though, but not like before.

none of that shit just get some pyroil silicone lubricat and spray it in the side tracks of the window. not where the window comes but where the windows goes up to. and then do it several times rolling the windows up and down and it will get smoother and smoother and just stop when you think it is where is supposed to be.

My windows were really messed up because i did spray a couple of times, rolled my windows up and down for a while (as posted in the old forum), and no progress was made. But you should try that first. It might just need lubrication, but if that doesn't work, look at your rails and motor.

I told U, that is a big problem. U have to fix it. I knew it cuz last time my friend had same problem with his Toyota Starlet (don't mind the Starlet, it's not happened here). We try to fix it, but it already bent, and broke one of the plastic gears. My cheap suggestion... go to the junkyard, get the same whole item and throw the old one away.. :D

would u guys recommend that pyroil stuff to lubricate the door hinges as well? And also my driver's side door seems a little misalinged, anybody have this problem where it seems to hang about half an inch too low on the right bottom corner

I have the same problem. Both the passenger and driver doors are sagging a little, but i haven't really done anything about it. The bolts are probably are little loose. How to fix it? I don't know. And..., sure. Why not? Spray some Pyroil on your hinges. Just make sure you don't spay some on your body paint. The shit's a bitch to take off if it dries.

its the rubber track the windows go into, the water might have washed away what ever lube was on it....
