OK I got a H22 on the way, and I am trying to figure out about the cats. the 92 dx/lx has a diff. cat than an Ex. Why???? and which Cat should I use????Any one know... I have a 92 lx w/ a custom made exhaust (& detachable to pass DEQ, so I can put back on stock to get through) So getting it to pass is needed every 2 yrs. Is there a high flow that is still street legal, I dont really want to change whole exhaust every 2 yrs....

The flanges are different on the dx/lx cat than the ex cat. I wish I knew the answer. Are you buying this motor from Patrick? He would be able to tell you I have a lot of the exhaust components that are from that motor.

Do you have headers? but the cat according to the headers if you have them. 92-95 prelude headers, 92-95 prelude cat. and if the outlet side of the cat doesnt match up, weld it up! Its easy tosay weld something when I have friends that are welders. It wouldnt be expensive, any muffler shop would do it
