Hey, I was driving the other day and all of a sudden my wipers died and fell to the bottom. Anybody had this problem before? Is it a fuse or the motor?

yo i have never had this happen to me before, but here are a couple of ways to find out what it is part test...
windsheild wiper motor test..
1) open the hood, and remove the cap nuts ansd the wiper arms..
2)disconnect the 5-p connector from the windsheild wiper motor..(its the only electriclal relay coming off the motor)..
3)test the motor by connecting battery power and ground (there are 5 slits that are to be connected) three on the top an two directly underneith... looking directly at it, the three on top (starting at left to right are as follows) 1st -A 2nd -B 3rd -C... as for the two on bottom.. same left to right... bottom left -D and bottom right -E...
terminal/position..l A l B l D l
_________________________
low speed..........l__l - l + l
_________________________
high speed.........l - l__l + l
4) if the motor fails to run smoothly, replace it...
5) connect an anolog voltmeter between the C and the E terminals... run the motor at low or high speed..
NOTE: as (automatic stop)
the voltmeter should indicate 0 V and 4 V or less alternatley...
i tried to make the chart as simple as i coul since i dont have a scanner at all... hope this helps out some what...
this is also just on how to test the motor itself...
