problems with rpm's while driving

ok, this only seems to happen in the summer, when it is warm. when I'm driving anywhere over 60 MPH if i press the gas pedal enough to accelerate, but before it down shifts, it will rev up to where it shold, but then drop about 400 rpm's, and slowly come back up to where it should be I.E crusing at 3000rpm accelerate to 3500rpm then it will drop back down to 3100rpm and slowly go back up to 3500rpm.

now here is even better, if i press the pedal down more, it will rev back up, downshift, and go back to being normal.

as i said, it only seems to happen when it is warm outside, hotter then 50 degrees. so that makes me think that it might be a bad sensor, but which one?? and also there are no Check engine lights coming on.

if u could help me out with this one as weel it would be great!

P.S.
anyone know why there would be oil leaking out underneath the distributor cap??by where the coolant port is??maybe poor seal on the sensors that are there???

It might be a bad o2 senor. I seen it happen when you change your intake or weather temperature change.

where is the O2 sensor located??? and now that you point it out, it only started after i put in the K&N intake. if it isn't the O2 sensor, how would i fix it if it is bc of the intake??

check all your vacuum lines dat u took out from your stock intake

what am i checking the lines for??, just to make sure i took the right ones off???
i had a question about the vacuum pool box and if i should take it out, b/c there is a sensor plugged into it, but i don't know what it actually does
