Did anyone ever remove their front swaybar to see how the car handles? I'm trying to get more oversteer for autocrossing. I currently have the stock front bar and a Sus. Tech. aftermarket rear swaybar for my '94 Accord, but it does not seem enough. Any advice to reduce understeer, and to induce oversteer would be appreciated!

i know 4x4 guys do this, my dads rear is not on, it sways/leans more in the corners but i havnt noticed and better turning radius, i know for the 4x4's they have disconects. this allows you to just pop your sway bar in and out when you want. instead of having to put in and take out all the time

what about for are cars, do you think that it would make a tighter turning radious for us ?? or would it be no good to do it.. .like will the car be going all over the road like the toe was off or something.. ??

I think it would. I have no expeience from it, but Im taking a guess to say it would. Whats your suspension setup?. This is the biggest problem with FF cars, they have lots of understeer, and you gotta work them for the over steer. hmm, maybe, try less stickier tires in the rear, help induce the loss of traction, or if all else fails, attach mcdonalds trays to the back tires and just slide all over the fricken place...now that I have experience with.
Sorry to say this but the accords are not the best cars for auto cross though they can be made to be. The only thing I dont like about the accords is the fact that there chassis is not stiff enough stock. Jack one of those little hatch back civics up and youll have the front and back wheel lift off the ground, do that to an accord and youll only get the wheel you intended to lift off.

Stiffen your rear suspension up as possible - stiffest springs, stiffest shocks, thickest rear sway bar, rear tower bar - and make the front a bit softer should help.

Sway bars help with the body roll - so I'm not sure what removing the front one will do - it'll make the rear roll more, but that's not really over-steer though.
