Hey guys what's up my car went in today to get a new engine setup, let me know what you think and if there is anything I should change.

Engine: H22A1
Tranny: H23

KG ported/polished head
titanium retainers
three angle valve
Aria 9:1 pistons
Crower rods and rings
iron sleeve ductiles and bottom end
JG bored throttle body
Micropolished crankshaft
440cc fuel injectors

Well let me know what you guys think. I think it should be well over 300hp, when it is done it will be dynoed and i will let you guys know how it turns out. The shop told me it would only take a couple weeks (I have good connections with them) :)

awesome set up, I want to do something like that also. I'll either do 5 Speed conversion on my current automatic and install a FMAX Stage II turbo kit or Drop a H22 or F20B engine into it with a manual tranny and turbo that..

Your engine setup is exactly the same as Justin Rheem's prelude in the new import tuner. It puts out 365hp to the wheels, 255 lb-ft of torque.

Thats cool, its a good setup. If you ever come to NC i would like to see it. We got some imports here in raleigh. Theres this one white civic that is shaved (really clean with no door handles) that has alotta engine work with a turbonetics turbo. Im really starting to like turbonetics alot.

its only about 10 less hp and tq, and its only a 2.0 and im not in CA so no smog laws and its a rare jdm ACCORD engine...

yo i know a bunch of friends of mine are gonna be goign to lebalon valley strip in apr, if your accords done u should come, oh yeah if your cars done around the time my friends teg should be done he said he will come and drag with u if u want, its pretty fast for all motor. get back when u think it will be done around

yo that engine setup is nasty. be nice to have the bank to do that. if ur headin to NC ya should swing by here in md and make some money chumpin some kids out here. theres a mad racin scene out. funny thing is nobody puts the money into their cars cuz they are too busy loosin it to the kids that actually have work done. i'd def like to check out that engine setup to ya gotta post some pix and the dyno numbers!

no the motor is not done, i really wish it was but sadly it is not. I have had companies that tell me things will be here on a certain day and they showed up later or still have not showed up. I dont wanna mention company names because dont wanna give them a bad rep. And a dumbass at the shop told me he ordered something and never did so we r waiting on that, dick! almost all the parts have arrived the motor is going to together pretty well hopin to have it done by the middle to the end of April. Please... I really hope it is done by then but i dunno, have been workin some long hard hours on it, late nights in the garage. wanna go to HIN in Philly on June 26 and a bunch of other shows on the East Coast. My Club is lookin to drive out to Cali. this summer and we want a big crew to go so if anyone is interested let me know, and if u r already out in Cali. then we would like to meet up when we get out there.

THE MOTOR IS DONE! She is running like a champ, found out the other day it is not real safe to drive when it is raining, then again i was drivin crazy just cause it is so damn fast I love it. One small problem is that it drinks gas like i drink beer workin on my car. And gas is expensive $2.06, BS. O well that is y i dont drive it everyday. It will be dynoed by the end of the week, so i will update u guys soon

what is the gas mileage? and have you totaled up the cost yet?

i dont know the exact gas mileage but i would say 10-15mpg it really sux though. Not sure the exact total yet but i would say 20,000 - 25,000 just the motor setup. that is a rough estimate though

I plan on dropping an H22A engine into my accord also, just because i hate the C27 engine because no one makes parts for it cuz its so rare. Plus I just want the sheer horsepower and torque out of that engine. I am planning on getting a JDM instead of USDM, just so i can get more, basically for the same price. Makes it nice though considering the engine mounts align perfectly. The only bad thing is that i need atleast 1,500 more dollars in order to get it and install. But it would all be worth. I should have enough by the end of this summer hopefully. :rolleyes:

well i wish u luck and hopefully u get it soon, it is def. worth the money. It is also fun if u car doesnt have much done to the exterior and u have a kick as sleeper car, mine right now

yea i am definitly planning on keeping it a sleeper. The ricer body kits and all are not for me, they are sweet, but not meant to be on my ride. Plus sleeper is just the best way to go, it is more funny when you kick some guys ass that spent +$5,000 on his exterior, when he could of had a +300 hp car instead of 130 hp piece of plastic. personally i would rather have the option of being able to drive up to anyone and knowing i could take them 98% of the time.
