i got an aem short ram intake, although i dont recomend installing it because you have an EX. there is so much shit attached to your intake system that you will be taking out.

Why did you take it out? I ordered an intake (no name/with K&N filter), but I don't know if I want to install it.
I know a lot of people have them, but I don't want to take my whole assembly out, I was just thinking about doing a K&N drop in and maybe put a couple of holes in the air box to increase the flow.
I am not sure if any of you guys know much about ATVs and Motorcylces, but we use mod out airboxes. We will put in an aftermarket filter and drill holes in the box or cut the top off. They have these hole size foam filters, that you can insert in the holes to keep out water and dirt.
What do you guys think?
